I am doing research and need to design a banner for our sporting houses at school .We have two houses for athletics .These are Negev and Galil. How interesting, cool! There is so much Jewish history in both the Negev and Galilee. (How far back do you want to go ..😂) The Negev was visited by our forefathers Abraham and yitzchak, and is considered a dry land. There are a few stories about wells in that area from that time, maybe that could be cool for a banner sport theme, finding water via wells and growing even when it's tough 💕 also loads of history till modern day, with new settlements (11 points) and David Ben gurion setting up his office there. Galilee - is more hilly land, lots of water. Also lots of history, yaakovs blessing to his sims asser and naftali about fruitful land (their tribal land was in this area), The judge devorah, The 10 lost tribes were exiled from there (asyrian), also a lot of fascinating history there during the second temple time- towns like tzippori, beit shearim, sanherdrin was located there... Rebellion against Romans. A lot of brave soldiers from this area.. The different tribes that lived in each area is an interesting topic. Don't know much about it, I'm Israeli we have had enough news here to follow.. 😂 but it seems like some individuals, without getting permission decided to 'expand' an area below and broke a wall. I think the word tunnel/tunnels was used mostly for click bait purposes IMHO.. 🙏
@tamarmeisels4637 Why don't you know? It was big news in the states for 3 days Then it disappeared Why do you people get away with criminal behavior? Any one else who had tunnels under their establishment would have been prosecuted to the greatest extent of the law
@@fortunatomartino8549I think this was a way to make the Jewish people look bad. If you remember, the media brought to light the tunnels under that synagogue shortly after Israel showed the world the Hamas tunnels. I do not believe there was any criminal intent on the Jewish people in the synagogue. I watched a video a while back of a synagogue in another country that had escape tunnels in the event they were attacked. Unfortunately Jewish people in years past have been forced into their synagogue and burned alive. 😢 Not sure if this was the intent of the American synagogue in this case.
its something I've never fully understood but are Hasidic jews raised with the belief that they need to live the way they do ie keep kosher shabbat etc, my understanding is jews have free will but there also seems to be this need or expectation to live way they do from what i see
Every Orthodox Jew (including chassidic Jews) accepts an Orthodox lifestyle - kosher, shabbat, many more commandments ,believing that the Torah and it's commandments are from G-D etc... Free will does not mean the Torah and it's commandments are optional for us.. They are completely mandatory, but we still have free choice, if to keep the commandments which also includes for example speaking only good about others and perfecting our character traits so as you can imagine is endless... We can choose to be righteous or evil.. So even when we accept a certain lifestyle and belief systems there is still plenty of free choice in our actions. Hope this helps 💕
