haha. "when was the last time you checked your 401k"... well like an hour ago... I manage it actively. I will check on my title, but I don't think this service is needed by everyone.

Question: I keep seeing ads for services claiming to protect people from home title fraud or deed theft. Is this even a prevalent problem? Is there an easy way for me to confirm that my title is clean rather than paying for a service? Answer: In 2008, the FBI identified “house stealing” as the “latest scam on the block.” Since then, it has popped up periodically in cities such as Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York City and Philadelphia. Is it a growing problem? That’s hard to know because the FBI doesn’t break it out separately in its crime statistics. The American Land Title Association doesn’t have data on the problem, either. “I suspect that companies that offer title-monitoring service use that [the claim] as a marketing strategy,” says Jeremy Yohe, vice president of communications at the association. 13 Tax Breaks for Homeowners and Home Buyers The scheme works like this: Fraudsters pick out a house-often a second home, rental, vacation home or vacant house-to “steal.” Using personal information gleaned from the internet or elsewhere, they assume your identity or claim to represent you. Armed with forged signatures and fake IDs, they file paperwork with the county’s register of deeds to transfer ownership of your property to themselves or a third party. They then sell the home or borrow against it, stealing your equity. When they fail to make payments on a loan secured by your property, you could end up in foreclosure or be unable to sell, refinance or pass the home on to heirs. But you can protect yourself-for free-by periodically checking your property record on the website of your county’s register of deeds. Look for deeds that you or your attorney didn’t prepare or sign, or loans you didn’t take out, as well as liens of contractors, subcontractors, real estate brokers or attorneys whose services you didn’t hire, or court filings, says the Cook County (Chicago) recorder of deeds. Even better, many counties now provide a consumer notification service. Register for free, and you’ll quickly receive an e-mail or text any time a document is recorded on your property. The New York City department of finance advises homeowners to make sure the appropriate authorities have the correct mailing address for you or the person who should receive notices about your property. In your absence from your home, have mail forwarded or ask someone you trust to pick up mail or visit your home. Visit a vacant house periodically to ensure that no one has taken up residence illegally. Utility bills on a vacant property rise suddenly, or you find people living there. You stop receiving your tenants’ rent payments and learn that they’ve been making the payments to another person and location. You receive payment books or other information from a lender with whom you haven’t done business. Or you find yourself in default on a loan or notified of foreclosure proceedings. How to Spot a Scam: Here are 3 I Dodged If you experience or find something amiss, notify the register of deeds and local law enforcement. In New York City, for example, homeowners who think they are victims of deed fraud are urged to act quickly to report fraud to the city’s sheriff, get a certified copy of the fraudulent document from the city register’s office, report the crime to the district attorney’s office in the borough where the property is located, and consult an attorney to help confirm ownership of the property. (Legal action known as “quieting the title” may be required to resolve any questions about your ownership of the property.)

A true joke hollowed out into a nightmare. I was recently abducted May 2024 asked questions then tortured with likely brain electroshocks. My eyes were punctured and my hand had a needle embolus where I had awakened and wanted to leave myself a mnemonic memory device after i tried to remove it. The thumb ligament is permanently damaged from the needle. They were police associated most likely or authorized by the USA Dictatorship currently in power. The attacks in October 1999 Hector Mine Earthquake day were bombs to rob federal banking regulators at la quinta resort and to cook lithium in the Salton Sea. It appeared my honest federal associates FDIC were being killed or sent on holiday or they never existed. I was told at the torture session meant to provoke me to attack that there is no lithium there is no Salton sea. I was told I had eyes of a pig and that my arm would rot off. I did not attack. I had a brain stroke and 8 hour amnesia. I felt the embolus on my hand in the parking lot and thought it was maybe a bee sting then maybe a needle. I fled as if in controlled terror. The dictatorship hired me to meet the unstoppable force. The slippery hand behind Berkshire Hathaway seems to me to be culpable as a potential associate to murder. The murder of federal bank examiners was to assist in the transfer of titles to lands including Salton sea. They were killing people and one man warned me while I was drugged at a bank examination in 1999 Another question the interrogator asked I am not sure. I had busted sheriff jack tillman for food funds thievery which he denied stealing and tried to keep as his own in Mobile Alabama 4 3 2001 I did the audit in front of city cameras. He attacked me. The federal government allows us to be starved in cages and to be attacked viciously if we try to intercede in criminal insanity of a sheriff. We need a change of dictatorship I need workers compensation. All I had was stolen through their acts. I will want Berkshire Hathaway to be examined. The titles to land likely have false dates. All land titles in the 1990s since the suicide of the regional director circa FDICIA 1992 I want a home replacement. I lost my home Never use usa medical care if a replacement doctor arrives. They are possibly from the criminally insane dictators medical cadre of torture maiming specialists. Lol bullshit. If a lender gets scammed you're not going to foot the bill. If somebody makes a fake title with a fake identity, and you have the real one with your real name on it, you will face no liability. You'll have a minor inconvenience when you have to dig through documents and show them the real one.....but the lender who lent money to a fraudster is the one who will ultimately take the loss. Their carelessness is not your problem.

This dude says " the mortgage company doesn't know it's my house. They just know it was used as collateral..well that's Their problem. Im Not responsible for a mortgage company's poor business tactics. I'f they loan money to a fraudster or to anybody who does not legally own a home that just too bad so sad. Boo hoo. They loose their money and the legal homeowner is not responsible. And I have a 38 special that says it's MY house. Don't get fooled into paying us into this scam. It's like paying the mafia for protection. Lol. Fools fools fools. More fake news!
