Pretty much the reason I booked a trip to the UK, along with Wicker Man. Loved Icon so much and I also love the Smiler! Both are fantastic roller coasters that I hope more Americans can experience

When I hear the music, I remember going on it for the first time. This coaster is the reason that I and a friend went to England. We also visited Alton Towers. It were amazing days!

Ridden it 7 times so far, and I agree that it is the UK's best Rollercoaster.

Icon is my favourite rollorcaster💗🎢 I’m scared of heights n but honestly this is so so fun! You just have to push yourself to go on it💗It’s so scary and gives your an adrenaline rush and that’s why I love it!

- Best Uk Coaster is Icon. Swarm and Nemi fight it out in 2nd. The rest of the good coasters in the Uk mix around the rest depending on their operations. People really need to always take through-put and reliability into account (including staffing). - Best woody is Grand National followed my Megaphobia. - Best Dark ride is Valhalla with Hex just pipped. - My favourite Uk flat is Maelstrom/Apocolypse depending on what I had for lunch, with Eagles Claw just behind them. I do have a dirty little sweet spot for Saw, something about the being thrown around (and the pre-drop). I am also a Front row coaster lover! - Keep the back with it's drag and lack of view, I want to feel like I'm the only guy riding while being pushed over airtime hills. The main thing to keep in mind is that we all enjoy different things, so don't just listen to an opinion and agree - Go experience things for yourself with an open mind.

Great coaster, and definitely rides better than it looks. I rode it with pretty low expectations but the first airtime hill was actually brilliant, the airtime hill in the second section was great as was the drop out of the immelman. I love that it's a reasonably long ride too. This is a great example of a coaster that gets better through the day too. It's just what BPB needed and for me it's the best coaster in the UK although that's damning it with faint praise.

Been on it twice and OMG it’s insane! I didn’t expect it to be so fast and ugh the inversions were sick! The count down at the start make me nervous then your blasted of into the mist! I love the bar which holds you in, you know your hold in tightly but also are so free! I also love how it slows down for a few seconds as it gets you back to where you are!

Excellent video as ever Harry! Honestly it just makes you appreciate how incredible this ride really is, and why it's considered the best coaster in the UK :)

I've been to all the main theme parks in the uk and been on all rollercoasters this for me is at the top in number 1 spot, the free feeling you get and the smoothness of the ride is amazing

Concise, comprehensive and well edited/filmed video as always. Appreciate in particular the comments quoting Ms Thompson about Icon being 'stylized' rather than fully 'themed', good insight. Great job Harry, again! Although it's not a Top 10 coaster for me, I really enjoyed riding and re-riding Icon. Considering in particular the tight footprint at Blackpool, the layout is masterful and delivers several exciting moments such as the Immelmann out of the second launch (great in backseat!) and good moments of airtime. Really fun and a fab addition to the UK coaster scene! As feedback and minor complaint, I think the background music does feel out of sync with your comments at times. Don't get me wrong, it is a superb soundtrack and your editing overall is top notch - nonetheless sometimes the music would get really epic whereas you were only calmly describing cherry blossom paintings! Maybe using other, more chill parts of the whole Icon soundtrack would have been a better fit for such less 'epic' parts of your narration. Then again, I understand audio editing is very challenging and this is really nit-picking from me. Fab work again, and always looking for your upcoming works ;)

What is Icon? The coolest rollercoaster I have ever been on! I went on it this summer and it was incredible! (They also sell t-shirts and I have one!) 😁

Been on icon 13 times in one day, after watching updates of the ride up till the opening of it I fell in love with it, amazing rollercoaster best one I’ve been on, first ride I really did hit my thrill level, the restraints are PERFECT and it’s so so so smooth I need to go back and do it another 13 times

I went to the pleasure beach just to go on this ride, it was shut, thankfully my ticket had a free return and using that it was open and I went on it twice - it was worth the trip back! It is such a nice roller coaster to ride, so smooth, but it is intense and fun at the same time, my hat is off to the design team!

I swear I love these videos...I wish you could do one for every coaster and every park...... and every manufacturer

These new UK coasters are really taking it to the next level (in my opinion) - all of the main parks in the UK have some very ICONic coasters! (I had to do it to u didn't I....)

one thing these videos always do, if only briefly, is get me excited and interested in coasters i wasn't always so hot for to begin with

I have to say since I've been on this roller coaster, ITS AMAZING! The ride quality is excellent and the LSM's provide an amazing acceleration experience! I'd highly recommended it!

I've only been to Blackpool and Alton Towers, but Icon is my favourite out of all the rides, followed by Nemesis and The Smiler. Wicker Man was closed last time I went to AT unfortunately.

I love the soundtrack as I walk to the coaster, ride is great, i live in the UK, so i dont have to take tiring flights to be amazed, If you haven't tried it, I reccomend! I went on it about 17 times in a day I loved it that much

One reccomendation, a rollercoaster inversions explained video. Its hard to know the difference between think like a barrel roll, heartline roll, and inline twist. It's confusing, but I think you could do it.

I live 10 mins away, and I thought it was the best coaster in the UK... until I went back on Nemesis :P I still love this coaster though, it's a good family friendly coaster that can "introduce" kids to these bigger rides, especially with blackpool being a pretty big family resort anyway

I love this ride

I love this coaster for being different. Most enthusiasts were talking crap about it for not being high enough, fast enough bla bla bla. If you just want a high and fast coaster go and ride a B&M Hyper. Mack rides loves to invent and try new things therefore creating so many unique coasters in recent years. Cant wait for Copperhead Strike to do the same thing to american enthusiasts.
