IN THIS VIDEO, I WILL TELL YOU WHAT I CARRY IN MY NOTARY BAG!!
As a signing agent, one of the first items you will need is some kind of bag to keep and transport your notary signing agent supplies and documents in. There is no one right type of bag to use, it really just boils down to personal preference. After 13+ years as a signing agent, I can tell you what items I've found that you MUST HAVE, items that are GOOD TO HAVE, and items that are HANDY TO HAVE in your notary bag!

The thumbprint pad is a must have, now I have single use strips. I also put my seal and pens, thumbprint strips, small stapler and paperclips in a clear ziploc so that I can remove them from my bag without fishing around and no leaks! Handy is a spare set of reading glasses, they break sometimes so I have cheaters in the car.

I'm a newbie Notary and your video is very helpful! I will also be, as a personal policy, requiring thumbprints from my signers, so I have a thumbprint pad and will carry individual alcohol wipes for signers to clean their thumbs before dipping into my pad. :)

Very good video! I am looking into getting started. I actually just learned that this was a career yesterday when we had a notary come to our home. I plan on trying it part time after my full time job to see if I can make a career out of it. Being my own boss & having flexible hours is what appeals to me. I would love to be able to spend more time with my children instead of behind a desk 8-9 hours a day making a less than appealing wage. Thank you for these videos.

That's a good one for some states! In Texas we're advised to NOT get biometric info (including fingerprints) but in other states it's definitely a must have!
