I keep my old Walther PP in a pistol sock, but I carry it in an old like new P64 holster. I used to have guns all over the house but moved them all into a large safe because my wife suffers from depression and I have an autistic son..
In Canada, having 3 loaded rifles in your bathroom would be enough for a swat team visit and you’re going to jail. Our government thinks anyone who owns a gun must want to kill someone. It’s crazy
Safe storage here is just safe for the criminals. They expect you to run to the bathroom and cower. The loaded guns in the bathroom is a good idea, because the sh*t is going to hit the fan.
I imagine you're really backed up wth repairs now Mike due to your commitment to excellence while performing repairs. It would be nice though if you could do a really short video saying that after a set date you'll be coming back and maybe be free to take on some more repairs. I'm just speaking as a long time fan.
😂😂😂 there’s a pair of glasses in that case alright, if you mess with this man or family you gonna see Jesus 😂 , love vintage firearms very nice side arm
Mike or anyone, where would I start to find a problem on one of these radios where the mic does not pick up the voice waves but is transmitting but it doesn't transmit any sound so the radio indicating is transmitting but it's not transmitting any sound no other radio can hear anything? and the bulbs are burned out behind the channel dial? Help. Thank you
That's not a gun. That's a tool for the workbench. It's used for punching holes into metal cases to run wires through. As a matter of fact it can punch holes into a lot of stuff!
Hey mate that was funny when you said Twin Towers it was those Pace tools I first thought of having been in your workshop last year. I also have the same Pace station as you and those brushes. The glasses case had me though as I have never seen one on your bench and I know you wear glasses 24/7 pretty much. Very funny story Mike!!! Cheers from down under!!!
Maybe I'm a liberal European hippy, but having loaded firearms in every room including the bathroom kinda blows my mind. Is that really necessary? Nice Pistol though.
If he needs a pistol in his workshop to feel comfortable then it's ok. I need candy to feel comfortable, other ones have a picture of their family on their bench. different people have different needs.
Hello Mike I don't know if you go back over your old videos to see any new comments this is the gentleman down in Florida who's Cobra 200 you worked on oh I'm just in love with what you did I'm in need of some help from you at the moment if there's any way that I can get ahold of your number maybe I can call you again
Oooooooh Walther PP I always wanted a PPK. They have had some issues with production over the years in the USA. I hear they are making them again in the USA. I understand yours is not a PPK and not USA production. People get too caught up in cartridge size, stopping power and high capacity.
Stopping power is not a problem with mine. I only shoot hand loaded ammunition and the loads I have in this are nasty. When I came up with this load I actually had to back off the powder charge slightly because the pressure was so high it was starting to push out the primers. If I had to pick being shot with a 9mm firing factory load full metal jacket rounds or the rounds I have loaded in this I would rather be shot with the 9mm.
Nuts, I thought you'd homebrewed up the twin towers up yourself...they looked just like the chalk holder I used to have when I was an instructor at Ft Leavenworth.
Oh god that is just the coolest thing i have seen this week. Have to say my wife won’t allow me to have guns in the bed anymore. I was only cleaning it. Probably better not to ask why. Didn’t James Bond favour the PPK before the made him give it up.
mike i was using one like it for my ccw...my boys said dad that gun is getting to high priced to carry time to get a new ccw one so rual king had a sale on the 9 mm sw shield with two mags ..299. pus tax with a safety too
I have over a hundred pistols. That is one of the ones I cycle through as a daily carry piece. Some people wear different shoes every day or week. I wear a different pistol every week. :-)
Let me show you what is in the case, pulls out a loaded gun and whats the first thing he does? Puts his bugger hook on the bang switch!!! OMG Mike, Gun safety 101.....
There is no ammunition in the chamber and since I am the only person that is ever in this room there is no chance a round mysteriously appeared in it. Besides that I had checked the chamber to make sure it was clear before I even fired up the camera. The only semi automatic guns I have with a round in the chamber is the one on my belt that is being used that day as my daily carry piece.
