1. The road on which Chinese embassy is situated in Delhi should be renamed His Holiness Dalai Lama Road by New Delhi Municipal Corporation. 2. India must re-emphasis that India accepted only Chinese suzerainty and not sovereignty over Tibet. 3. Modi Govt recent initiatives on Tibet must be based on assurances from Armed Forces that we can deal with Chinese effectively on land, sea and air. Of course, infrastructure is now in a good position and is only improving. 4. India must also now talk of human rights violation and religious persecutions in Xin kiang too. 5. If CPM leaders met the Chinese ambassador, then BJP and think tanks should have made a big issue of this meeting. Daniel Raja should have been questioned about the meet and what transpired therein. We must know the purpose of such meeting and its outcome.

Dr Kochhar, The Dalai Lama is not only a spiritual leader, he is the official head of state of Tibet.

We have no boarder with china but with Independent Tibet. Hence we must concentrate upon Tibet's independence and it's wellbeing. That is in our interest and also for peace in the region.

India's approach toward China till now seemed too naive and cautious. In fact, India had let China step all over it by not bringing up the true nature of the Tibetan issue and not taking a strong stance against China about Tibet. As a result, India has suffered set backs in the border. Time for India to change gear and give some of China's own currency back to it. Bring up the fact that Tibet was always independent country before Communist China occupied it and India has border with Tibet and not with China.

Its actually a very good move by govt to stop flights as well. However they need to ban imports also and stop giving them rice. Cheenis can sneak in harmful substances also can be chemical or biological or radioactive. Infact all imports from Hk and SG also should be banned. Imports need to be kept in a remote staging area and then screen and scrutinize it well before bringing it in.

This is a request to not used the Chinese concocted name for TIBET. “Zhizang” is not listed or noted in any Tibetan document nor in any International document. It is an entirely communist China concocted name and no Tibetans accepts this name. Hypothetically speaking, Tibet could be claimed as India's territory based on the fact that British Raj attacked and occupied Tibet in 1904.

Central Tibetan Administration(CTA) Policy is Middle way Approac. Only few Ngo's like Tibetan youth Congress are struggling for complete independence.

The CCP has settled other Chinese citizens in Tibet area specially the Han people including the Qinghai which was part of independent Tibet. They are given huge subsidy and benefits to settle there that also includes funding for setting up their businesses. This is in addition to forcefully marrying Tibetan women and producing the hybrid children and then forcing them to learn Han cultural values.

Tibet was an independent country. Religiously: Tibetan king invited indian pandit from Nalanda University during 7thand 8th century and there were student exchange and especially when Nalanda University destroyed by Muslim king some Tibetan monks were able to take and manage to fled across Himalayas and later they interpret many text from sanskrit to Tibetan. Politically: Tibet and India have few armies or sepoys near border aka Indian Tibetan border police (ITBP) since Tibet was illegally occupied by Chinese communist armies. India been spending trillions of dollars in border areas across Himalayas. Chinese communist will never leave india peaceful unless and until tibet got independent.

Since Nehru’s time of non-alignment, Indian government had been overly cautious and risk aversion policy. PRC had been strategic. Now Panchshil has become PRC’s policy. I sense now India has changed and is more offensive than defensive.

You have no or very little border with China, but with Tibet. That also through occupied Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Arunanchal etc. If India leave them free and in peace, they will act as buffer and protect India.

Tibetans cannot oppose HH Dalai Lama's wishes for the Middle Way but all Tibetans want Independence. Regarding the Tibetan resistance please read, “Echoes From Forgotten Mountains”, by author Jamyang Norbu. Khampas fought the Chinese first because they were at the forefront of CCP invasion but it would be wrong to assume that other Tibetans just ran away!

Chinese investment in Tibet is a fiction. All the funds are used to control Tibetans. The Chinese military, secret police, the armed police, and the massive amount of Han Chinese given huge incentives to relocated to Tibet. Chinese migrating to Tibet are provided with housing, Jobs and provisions on landing. Their pay grade is almost 3 to 4 higher than Tibetans, (if they are lucky to get a job)with extra high-altitude supplements. The infrastructure built in Tibet is to facilitate the PLA and their equipment and transportation. And out of that a large amount goes into the pockets of the CCP officials and their cadres. And Tibetans receive only the crumbs.

“How will China react…?” Why worry so much about their opinions? Do they care about what others think?
