What is Intuition? 

I always searching for the right meaning of intuition and now i can also explain it very well. Thank you mam.

In short, Intuition is the "Powerfull Subconscious mind"

Good one.....Intuition is accumulated knowledge which the soul have throughout it's existence........It has connection to your soul......the raw knowledge.

Dr. Janaki explains in a very structured, understandable and dare I say, scientific way. We need more of her than some Indian gurus who don't make sense in the explanation they give, but people are afraid to question back because it may look disrespectful.

Intuition is more than simply knowledge and subconscious response. It can also be your soul's response to energy ;) even in situations where your subconscious mind has no previous programming we can get a sense about the vibration in the energy and get a feeling image in our mind. Having a deja vu is a prime example of this.

That "knowledge" she speaks of has its ground in Being Itself. There is no one to have an intuition. It is non-local and has nothing to do with the thinker, the thought and thinking until it arises entirely FROM the one consciousness we all share - just like all else we appear to experience. This bit of wisdom sounds like something the dualistic and materialistic neurologists say.

I think intuition comes from self reflecting. I often thought isolating myself was just how i behaved but ive realized the self isolation has made me reflect on situations so much that now im very intuitive and i can sense and feel emotions,detect lying and even know if someone is a good or bad person. But this feeling is also very overwhelming especially in crowds. Trying to read 300 people at 1 time makes me sick and i often have to isolate myself some way just for a minute or 2 just to keep calm. I often get deja vu quite frequently and it terrifies me.

Thank you for sharing this video to clarify what is intuition (digested knowledge) with examples and self analysis to read if it is intuition or a just a random thought. With regards to digested knowledge e.g mother intuitively knows what his/her child needs are because from past experience or knowledge,but if this is her 1st child ,how would the mother have any knowledge in this present moment,therefore is it possible that the mother carried knowledge and experience from her PREVIOUS birth which manifested as intuition in this birth .

👍👍👍 One small argument: But flash of digested knowledge can also be from previous life. It may be bit problem for christian and muslim to believe in previous life or next life. However, in 21st century top scientists like psychologist and neuroscientist are accepting something called a consciousness besides mind.

I think intuition is much bigger than this.Sometimes there are things which do not require any knowledge like going to someone or some place and many other things unrealted to any knowledge.And we do get intuition regarding that as well.That action may harm us or may be beneficial.But then my doubt is do intuition really has to be knowledge only.Knowledge is good part of it i agree but then other things??

I have question, the day before yesterday I had a feeling like my cat will deliver her babys in that day coz of the little strange behaviors I noticed of her and my grandma is a great cat lover , when I told her that about this thing that the cat will do her deliver today at first she believed me and she even came to see the cat to our house , and she was agreeng to my opinion but after a few moments she experienced cat's behavior by her own and the cat was like playing around and did stuff like that ,due to that behavior she noticed, she told me and Mom that she doesn't think that the cat is going to have a delivery today , she said cat is in a playful behavior , even though cat's behavior was like that I got that strong feeling that cat will deliver the babies for sure in that day , my feeling didn't change & my feeling came true , she delivered the babies during mid the night of that day. My question is the feeling that I strongly felt was intuition?

~what about awakened intuition where you are aligned in every place you should be and all the doors open for you and you just follow through~how does this happen?~ you say~you have let go of a life that does not serve you externally but internally you gave your trust to a higher being in every endeavor you now encounter~this trust has brought you to balancing and harmony~from your "gut" feeling you have opened that chakra in like a magnet that not only draws you to everything that knows of you and brought you here from before your birth but also whatever is external is left at bay for your allowance to move into wherever you go as said magnet~you have become the WUJI in the TAO* or middle way from yin and yang~your vehicle is being moved by that to qwhich sits within you that knows of you as it brought you here in the first place~ ~I had a dream once as I was slowly becoming awakened back in January 1985 and in the dream I was in a restaurant with my mom. sister and a woman I use to work with and noted everyone in the restaurant had a beautiful golden veil over them~I noticed that it was the light that was being prevented to entering them as possibly that was the shell of their ego as they maintained the shell then ever allowing the light to enter and receive Divine Consciousness~but as I sat there it seen as mine was being lifted as it got eye level I exclaimed~"I know the reason why we have coincidences!!!!"~this blew my mind and I woke up~the only thing I can "think" of why it was happening to me was my ego seemed to have given up and was time for me to enter the realm of the Divine~all the long with this a wakening happening to me all things were already aligned for me as I moved about through wherever I was going~if I needed something it was already placed for me to have~I exclaimed again to myself in silence that this is suppose to be how we are to live~it seems we have been here before and we have placed everything to our disposal from previous~but because when we come into this world we lost that essence through conditioning of parents, peers and society and followed their ways instead of our SOUL*~ ~the sole purpose now that I seek which all the long is here is to find that origin of my SOUL* that made of me and enter in dissolving of what is of the world to be within the world which goes beyond intuition all together~as this is my own rendition of being "born again" as you are not a physical being carrying that SOUL* within you but have shed that ego as being a physical being and becoming the SOUL* you have always been and the path you are taking has never left right where you are~that origin you have sought is the first cell into consciousness made by the SOUL* in this case as the heart moves us all but never moves beyond where it is which is here and has electromagnetic impulses that attract those essences into now that Spiritual life as the burden has now been gone of being of the world but now being within the world~in Buddhism it is a dharma that one puts on hold to see heaven but instead to not talk about the path to attain but to show how one gets there without words~ ~I can go on and on about this but this has made me so excited for the past 45 years as twice this has happened to me in a portal that the Divine has shown me and it was not until 14 years ago that during a tough period of nearly 22 years of struggle that I seen the movie the Secret as it changed my life forever in being on this journey within~ ~the world outside of ourselves is false and many subject themselves to living and following it and the more you dig into it the more suppressed you become in learning that instead of who you already are~

I really enjoyed listening to this but I disagree. When a baby is born it latches on to the mother's breast with no previous experience of how to do this, having been fed through the placenta for 9 months. So I disagree that intuition is simply digested knowledge as suggested here. Instead it is something innate and natural that we as human beings are gifted with. We do of course make many decisions based on digested knowledge, but that is not intuition. Intuition is with us at birth and we can cultivate it throughout our lives into something powerful. Totally Disagree with this definition. intuition to me is Vibrance of Activated Sushumna nadi (developed by Satvik Sadhana) supplied into the Mind (mostly this sense relates to its applications into physical world but one has to transcend beyond this level ). its not the previously digested knowledge for sure.

Mam ,with due respect I don't think what you said about intuition is right.You claimed intuition to be digested knowledge ,this is not intuition .This is more of diffused mind solving Or tackling any situation .But intuition is beyond knowledge ,logic , amalgamation of pre requisite knowledge . For eg Einstein, their was no knowledge of theory of relativity but intuition had come to Einstein beyond his knowledge ,and other people knowledge then he crossed check his intuition at every step and proposed theory of relativity . Intuition is beyond knowledge . Ramanujan's mathematical work is Intuition where it had come from no body knows.Intution is divine computation ,But the problem is ,we often mislead some random thought with intuition and then we say always cross check you Intuition ,what we have to cross-check is thought ,real intution is elternal truth that is witnessed in calm ,meditative , attentive mind and perceived through heart as a feeling ,It will not come from mind ,it will come as a feeling that will guide to correctify you thoughts , belief , knowledge and then you will expand the horizons of your knowledge .And with this knowledge you can play ,prove other things ,manifest different structure with intermixing ideas from knowledge .Idea is not always truth but we can play with it and create various things also other than we expect.If something meaningful would come from playing with idea we call it invention .But intuition is more of a discovery .
