Being a Jew is not about controlling the world, it's resources or it's people. It's about creating paradise on Earth for all those whom knowingly help to do so.

Rabbi Freidman is correct about Kosher. I would like to add that each of us should know what our blood type group is and eat what is appropriate for our blood group. Learn Trophology (proper food combining). Ayurveda is also compatible with Kosher.

I like the way you think. Every moment is a chance to honor Hashem and every moment is a gift from Hashem. There is no sacrifice, no effort only the purest of obligation to our very purpose.

Thank you Rabbi for your advice in my Jewish journey. It is the Home where Jewish practices centers, not the Synagogue. Only 1 commandment is practiced in the Synagogue. The rest of the 612 commandments occur primarily in the HOME. Praise the Lord. Amen.

4:40 if you love God and are serious all you have to do us tell your boss you can no longer work on the sabbath and if God is with you they cannot fire you. Or you simply choose to not work there. God will provide always to his flocks. Just like the birds and creatures we who God loves will go without nothing. Only those not with God will suffer because God our creator does not punish the people who love God with all their heart and mind, those who enforce God's instruction on themselves no matter what. God's law turns people good never worse.
@my2cents49
@my2cents49 2 года назад
This is absolutely NOT true. Righteous people go through persecution all the time and have for all of history. Read any book in the Tanakh - especially books like Job. It literally says that his suffering wasn't his fault. Your comment is lashon hara.
@LawofMoses
@LawofMoses 2 года назад
@@my2cents49 my comment is not lashon harah, I am not gossiping. God let Job suffer to prove that Job Loves God, just as the sacrifice asked of Abraham and after Iyob suffers he is restored with much more than he began with. He never suffered again. The story is to teach us that no matter what when going through the trials remain faithful to God no matter what. I know suffering as well, I went through it and have a lasting disability now to but that is what provides the pension from my insurance and is why I can study God 24/7 with no other issue to stop me.

We only have right now, that is your choice, tomorrow and yesterday are God's alone.

If I buy a bottle of koosjer wine, the moment I open it, it becomes not koosjer because I'm a goj. So what's the real purpose of kasjroet then?
@my2cents49
@my2cents49 2 года назад
Non-Jews aren't required to eat kosher - kashrut is for Jews. All food is kosher for you as a non-Jew, as long as it isn't an animal which is butchered or eaten while still alive and as long as you aren't eating blood. Wine only becomes unkosher when handled or made by non-Jews without Jewish supervision. The reason is because people will sometimes pour some of it out for the dead or dedicate it to idols, especially in certain social circles or parts of the world. A non-Jew who believes in HaShem and rejects idolatry, and who is eating with Jews doesn't have this problem because his Jewish friends can clearly see that he isn't doing anything prohibited with the wine.

Hell is not forever because when we are young we might stay there but when we become old, we act old and might say: how long i was at hell but now I'm getting old, I change and want to real repent baptize and fasting and almost i might know how to real fasting in a year ( without doing nogood in flesh and body) because old already and rusty my bone, cannot dance because old. Don't know! You make it perfect to understand it's. Okay! Please forgives us.

Hi Rabbi gelatin is mostly made from pigskin but it’s still kosher certified so could you please tell me your opinion about this? I’m a muslim who eats kosher products but I recently found out about this and I’m kinda worried. Thank you.
@my2cents49
@my2cents49 2 года назад
Hi, the problem with gelatin is that it's pork or other animals which haven't been ritually slaughtered, except that it's cooked so long that it starts to look like something else. The groups who give gelatin a kosher symbol aren't taken seriously by most traditional Jews, as their standards of kashrut are a lot lower than other agencies. If you're worried and you eat kosher products, just don't eat gelatin. As long as you are trying to do the right thing God understands.

But what about wild boars? They chew their cud and they have split hooves and white meat.
@my2cents49
@my2cents49 2 года назад
They don't chew their cud. Cows and other ruminating animals have several stomachs. They chew, swallow it into one stomach, then regurgitate it back up and swallow again. They also don't eat anything but grass. You can't say any of that about pigs. Having white colored meat has nothing to do with it. Sheep and cattle don't even have white meat.

Rebbe, about your explanation about hell not being forever. I guess first I should ask, have you read Enoch? The first book that was found among the dead sea scrolls written for a remote generation. In it the malachim that came down and took wives among the children of men, they are said to be in punishment forever. So do you believe that or is that not kosher? Is Enoch to be taken serious? Please reply
@darthvader7450

Rabbi Friedman, I am wondering what your thoughts are about turkey meat. I have read that now (today) that the ruling is that it is allowed to eat. Thank you very much for your hard work making these videos.
@Alden17

Turkey is Kosher
@my2cents49
@my2cents49 2 года назад
As long as the turkey is slaughtered in a kosher way, it's kosher. But an animal isn't kosher just because it's one of the kosher species. Torah says that God told Moses to slaughter animals the way he was shown on the mountain, but it isn't detailed in Torah what he was shown. So we do shechita - kosher slaughter, according to those instructions which are in Oral Torah. All meat is ok ("kosher") for non-Jews to eat as long as you don't eat things that were butchered or eaten while still alive. But for Jews the rules are different.

3:32 Everyone is not obedient to God mostly because Rabbis mottled the way by seperating themselves from the rest of Abraham's descendants. You think we should not keep God's sabbath as Moses writes it in devarim chapter 5. Yet Isaiah 56 says yes we can and should so we receive a name in heaven, in God's eyes. Why sabotage the rest of the people by not teaching what God said. Why accept what men write thousands of years ago without the Ruach Ha Kodesh? Devarim 4 God said live what I say and do not add to or subtract from it? So why is this happening? Jeremiah 8 But not my people! They do not know the Lord’s laws. 8 “‘How can you say, “We are wise because we have the word of the Lord,” when your TEACHERS=RABBIS have TWISTED IT BY WRITING LIES? 9 These wise teachers will fall into the trap of their own foolishness, for they have rejected the word of the Lord. Are they so wise after all? 10 I will give their wives to others and their farms to strangers. From the least to the greatest, their lives are ruled by greed. Yes, even my prophets and priests are like that. They are all frauds. 11 They offer superficial treatments for my people’s mortal wound. They give assurances of peace when there is no peace.
@my2cents49
@my2cents49 2 года назад
Isaiah 56 doesn't say non-Jews should abstain from the 39 categories of work on Shabbat, and that isn't a responsibility to take on lightly. Most Jews struggle with it. Judaism and Torah also don't teach that you have to be Jewish to be right with God. Christians believe that you have to convert or burn forever but that isn't a Jewish belief. If you reject idolatry and follow the Torah's moral laws (like the men of Genesis, Job, Ninevah's repentant ones, etc) for God's sake, you're already right with HaShem. What else do you want?

Europe is slowly but surely banning slaughter without pre-stunning. Time to update the Halakha rules about unblemished....or invest quickly in cultured meat, probably the better alternative anyway.
@jeffweingrad4658
@jeffweingrad4658 4 года назад
If the UN is against stunning (tasers) and the ACLU has problems with it, it is not humane. I once saw a cooking show with an American going overseas and he started to make lobster. They stopped him and said we don't boil them, it's inhumane. The "humane" method of slaughter they devised still gives me nightmares. Europe and European-like countries need to get on the ball and change their course, not the other way around.
@my2cents49
@my2cents49 2 года назад
If the UN makes kosher slaughter illegal, Jews need to either fight it to fix the laws or else they're required to stop eating meat unless it's a starvation/danger situation, which it isn't. That's how it works. Halacha is just fine and doesn't need to be "updated" to fit non-Jewish standards that step on religious freedom.
