Laser scanning is important because it shows the vibrational behavior of speakers and enclosures to determine if it's matching the predicted behavior. This helps prevent issues during production and ensures a consistent sound for customers. Laser scanning allows for the ability to closely examine what a transducer does by reconstructing a frequency sweep into a 3D model at every frequency in order to understand the actual output of the system.
