A Stage 4 prostate cancer diagnosis is reserved for those whose cancer has progressed outside the prostate to other organs. Usually the cancer is no longer responding to hormonal therapy at this point. There are a variety of medications available for patients with this diagnosis to help extend their length and quality of life. My husband is 45 was diagnosed stage 4 on1/14/14 his PSa was 5,928!! Yes that is correct. He stared hormone therapy and after 6 weeks PSA down to 139 and another 6 weeks its down to 39. Im still learning a lot but is still has no signs or symptoms of illness. He is working every day not sure how long this will all last but im taking it while he is feeling good. thanks for the video and info keep them coming. a lot of things on you tube are outdated

I was diagnosed the week of Sept. 9th, with Stage 4 My PSA was in the 70's. I do not know what it is now after radiation. I wish I was symptom free. Physically I am a train wreck. Without pain meds I can not function. I do not work anymore, I am physically and mentally not capable of working, I tried to go back to work, I lasted 20 hours. I was taking 4 hours to do tasks that use to take me one hour before I got sick.The company owner fired me, because I needed a medical leave of absence for radiation and chemo treatments. He refused to give it to me. Scum sucking pig.

My brother and father both died from bone cancer. Both of them had an expectancy to live 3 months to 1 year. My brother took all rek treatments and died after 3 months. My dad didn't. He only drank beer and lived 12 years. Absolutely true

The treatment attacks the cancer and changes it, first reducing it but it comes back differently and resistant to treatment.

I'll tell you, my partner had prostate cancer that spread. I truly think alcohol was the reason he lived as long as he did. He didn't drink in abundance just a drink or two a night.

Old videos like this should be taken down by the channel owner. The diagnosis technology, treatment approaches to address these issues and life expectancies have improved. The information is incomplete in my opinion.

IMO the vast majority of prostate cancer videos older than 2 years are likely to be obsolete and it is a disservice to leave them up.

I’ve got 4th stage prostate cancer only in the bones I was diagnosed a month after my 63rd birthday I’m now 64 and 8 months and doing great My kidneys are functioning above average My ex father in law was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease He was given 6 months to live in his early 20’s He died on his 83rd birthday His daughter who was my wife was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease She was in remission for 3 years when she was diagnosed with a high grade sarcoma in her spine She died 7 months later So you just don’t know

My partner just had surgery this week but now he can't walk. He has the same disease as you, namely prostate cancer in the bones in his back and now he can't walk. Is there any hope of him being able to walk? Have you ever been unable to walk after surgery? Please answer my question I really need that. i am hopeless btw.

Because cannabis is not a magic drug that helps with cancers. There will never be a natural medicine that works on all forms of cancer. I highly doubt that we will will come up with a synthetic drug that works on all types of cancer. Cancers are very different from each other in they way they behave. Cannabis would only help with pain, and it is already being given to patients.

@@trini_33ven54 def do ivermectin to keep cancer ♋️ in check and also do the cbd to help w the chemo side effects, it does wonders. If he needs something stronger then use thc( marijuana) as well. Helps kill cancer and alleviates a lot of the pain

Follow a strict whole food plant based diet high in blueberries, cranberries, lemon, cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, kale), dark green vegetables, walnuts, pecans, matcha green tea, & hibiscus tea. This will stop/prolong the growth/spread

I too will not do the hormone therapy. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and had a prostatectomy. I'm going to try and be as healthy as I can until I become sick. Hoping you're still doing well

@@leightontieszen2361 Hello, I had surgery June 2018, then radiation starting December 18. At the moment I am sitting at 0.1, If/when it comes back will not have hormone therapy ever, creates co-morbidities. Easy exercise, no sugar or surplus salt, am doing oxygen treatment, and intermittent fasting. Been reading up about metronomic chemotherapy. Read something about an Indian company buying a Dutch company to get the patent on a drug. The dose of chemo being so small that it activates the immune system which attacks the cancer, it does not cure but stabilizes, and on the testing so far the chemo effects were not debilitating. Think it is a low dose Tab taken everyday at the same time. Cannot find the article but will keep on looking for it. Good luck. The

Not sure if I said but I decided to not proceed with the radiation or hormone therapy after my radical prostatectomy. It's been 2 1/2 years since my surgery. My PSA continues to rise and quite rapidly. I'm trying to live everyday knowing it will be different soon. Not sure what soon means but I'm here today:) Take care

my dad have 4th stage of prostate cancer which is speedily growing and spreading from one part of body to another so fast what to do please help .. recently we have done dj standing process on him and 2 time dialysis because his creating goes high .. prostate tumor blocked urine vane come from kidneys to bladder .

This is an ancient video & should be deleted. Treatment regimens have changed so much over the decade. PC Stage 4 survival rates have risen greatly due to these new treatments.

my bf brother has stage 4 prostate cancer and it has metastasized outside of the prostate in other areas he had hormone therapy and then radiation the PSA level went down after but went back up and his lymph node is swollen I know this doesn't sound good at all
