I loved this video as well. How do you go about learning what is needed in medical writing? I have 2 masters degrees, (one is an MA in English and Publishing and the other is an MS in Biomedical Science). Neither degree covered anything specific with medical writing, but I do believe I have the skill set to pursue a career like this. I do like the idea of remote working conditions. I also want to get a doctoral degree, but I am torn as to get a medical degree or an academic degree. I'm older so getting a medical degree feels almost impossible. I'm just a very torn person as to what I should do next. I obtained my MS degree this past summer and am now teaching at a small college.

Would you recommend going the professional writing route for a bachelor's program and then onto maybe a master's in pharm or science? Or is this field really looking for bio/chem-type bachelor's degrees and then just develop the writing skills in house? Such a useful video though! Thank you for all the tips. I think this finally confirmed my direction! 🎉

Can you please do a video about freelance writing while breaking into regulatory writing? I have a master of science in applied clinical psychology, and I’m a medical writer for medical-legal reports currently. I would love to supplement my income with freelance writing.
