As a teenager it's hard sometimes to do the will of God but with proper guidance of my fellow brother's and sister's in faith i am able to do the right thing

Absolutely! That's why it's important to have a healthy community of believers around you, so that we can live out Proverbs 27:17, which says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

Modesty is when you know you look good but you don’t want everyone who looks at you to see your skin. Modesty is being good for yourself and that special someone not everyone

I agree 100% it’s a matter of the heart. Going to what you said, dressing for your own confidence, what causes that confidence? When you look good you feel good, but why do you want to look good? To be confident right? Well what causes that confidence? How do you have the conversation with your wife without acting like a parent to her?

The confidence we're talking about is related to feelings of self-worth as opposed to pride. If wearing a nice outfit makes us feel better about ourselves, that can be a good step toward realizing our inherent value in God's eyes. Your last question seems unrelated to the topic of modesty...? Good conversations between people always involve both listening and speaking from the heart.

When we consider modesty, we should think about more than just ourselves. If we cause a weaker brother to stumble through what we choose to wear, even if we're not trying to draw attention to ourselves, we are still at fault. We should assume that the Christian men that we encounter are working to live in holiness just as we are, and we should love them enough not to give them reason to stumble. Do all that you do out of love.

Likewise, Christian men have a responsibility to exercise control over their gaze and their thoughts! If we are all looking out for one another, then we can truly have peaceful hearts.

Yes. Of course Christian men have to also walk in holiness but: But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble. - 1 Corinthians 8:12-13 NKJV In the same way that Paul would never again eat meat to protect his brothers who are weak in the faith, if given the choice I will never place a brother in a position that makes it easy for him to stumble.

I wish more videos like this would pop up when searching "Modesty". So many legalistic man-made rule videos seem to be the norm. My wife and I agree that this is probably the best and truest to scripture explanation we've heard yet!

The rules of modesty apply to both men AND women--for sure!
