Mukya Mantri Laghu Udyog Protsahan Yojana (MLUPY) has been launched with the objective of providing subsidized loans through banks to facilitate the establishment of enterprises in the state and to provide new employment opportunities to all sections of the society.
Under the scheme, loans will be provided for manufacturing, service and business enterprises through financial institutions like (Nationalized Commercial Bank, Private Sector Scheduled Commercial Bank, Scheduled Small Finance Bank, Regional Rural Bank, Rajasthan Financial Corporation and SIDBI).
Eligibility Conditions :
1. Applicable for manufacturing, services and trading enterprises.
2. For new enterprises as well for existing units in case of expansion/diversification and modernisation.
3. Applicable for Proprietorship, Partnerships, LLP and Private Limited Company etc.
4. Eligible Institutions- Public sector banks, Private banks, Small Finance Banks, Rajasthan Financial Corporation, SIDBI.
5. For purchase of plant & machinery, construction of building, purchase of furniture, purchase of raw material etc.
Special Features :
1. The maximum cost of the project/unit admissible under manufacturing/service sector is Rs. 10 crores.
2. The maximum cost of the project/unit admissible under trading business is Rs. 1 crore.
3. The loan should be composite in nature i.e. combination of Term loan and Working capital.
4. Interest Subsidy will be given maximum for 5 years or tenure of the loan, whichever is lower.
