Here´s why I absolutely love and always will love Mushoku Tensei: At first I was completely disgusted with the main character, only to realize I was similar in so many ways... That inspired me to change, it made me feel things I´ve never felt before. So I brought my life together, I began focusing on school properly and I started working out. I will never ever, as long as I live, forget what this mere story did for me and what it will do for me in the future.

this is THE isekai, a slow-burn story with literally a lifetime of character development

The fact that it has been confirmed that mushoku tensei will be a long running anime like sao and danmachi, and the studio was founded mainly for the sake of mushoku tensei, i cant wait to see how they animate rudy's journey from a child to a youth... So far the animation looks so great that it gave a good impression to a lot of viewer

Alternative, Mushoku Tensei is actually a precursor/prequel story of an upcoming novel that the Author is planning to make. Mushoku Tensei is a story that develops world for the real MC coming to that world said the Author.

Currently 5 episodes in and I am absolutely enthralled. The other night I heard about it, not knowing its background and significance, so I was expecting a cute little isekai to just kinda turn off my brain to and watch a little before finding a new series to really fall into. However, as I watched those first few episodes, I was actually just blown away and extremely invested. The world and all of the characters so far are super interesting, and the themes that have been explored so far are actually very serious and honestly pretty well done. One of the things that stands out to me, along with the fact that its just so unexpectedly weird and mature in terms of the main character but also super simple in terms of what it tries, is that everything just feels so... natural? All of the characters, ideas, places, worldbuilding, it all feels like it makes sense, the characters feel real, and nothing really feels super extra or like it is added specifically to make plot more interesting, like it will always be important in some way, like it is integral in making this world work. As was said in the video, it does not try to reinvent the wheel (although it is essentially the creator of the wheel), but if anything it optimizes the wheel. And all this is just after 5 episodes! This series is still airing, its still got plenty of episodes left in the season, and yet I am still struggling to keep myself from going right to the light novels to continue the story now, regardless of the fact that I don't have to wait months for a new season yet. And now I am learning about all of this significance this series has, and it is just so interesting yet it makes sense. I am not very good at writing reviews or thoughts like this and honestly I kinda wonder why I am doing it here but this is my thoughts, and if you read this far and are still considering watching it, PLEASE give it a go! I don't tend to care for isekai all too much but this series is just so immediately drawing and I can't wait to see where it goes!

I have long read that people always compare isekai stories with Mushoku Tensei. So im intrigued about this adaption. After watching the first episode, Im quite satisfied with it. This anime certainly have its own charm. Its MC monologue, the smooth animation, the progression. I hope the progression in 24 episode will be good. This anime certainly is one of my top watch anime this season

I decided to try and read the very first webnovel of my life and I think this was a good start. The story line is very well developed and, as the video shows, the MC develop himself along with other characters of the story. You feel his uneasiness with the problems along the way, how he put everyone important to him over himself, and how the things grow up smoothly at a peaceful pace. This webnovel is simply terrific in the very first definition of it. I ended all the 25 volumes in 1 week after the first episode released.

I found this anime two nights ago, and WOW I'm hooked. The story, characters and art production are excellent.

I'm 8 episodes in so far and it is by far my favorite anime ever. Everything I ever wanted in one anime is present here. Amazing. And it just keeps getting better with each episode. 10/10

Mushoku tensei was THE novel that got me into reading other Light Novels, As someone who's finished it twice I am beyond happy too see it finally animated

We think it's great but it's the whole "i'm going to get serious" part that we like the most. He was a loser in his previous life but he is trying to be better in the new world and is making the most of every situation,And seeing someone who has fears and is not perfect is satisfying when they do their best to push past it and improve.

One of the best anime ive seen in a while and i watch a lot of anime. The latest episode i watched actually made me tear a little and that never happens... 10/10 all around, but mainly on character development.

My problem is the Ending.... It's almost so realistic that has both sad end, and happy end, ...

Having Tomokazu Sugita doing the narration for the kid is the best part of it for me. His internal monologues as Kyon in the Haruhi series were my favorite.

This was the first WN I ever read and it started me down the path of reading wns/lns instead of just manga. I love this series, I really really hope this adaptation does justice to the source material.

as a LN reader, i already finished reading this story for the 3rd time, and i can say that the world-building and storytelling of this series are on a whole different level, i'm also a writer/novelist for hobby since i was just 16 years old, and i personally admire Rifujin-sensei at same level as i admire some western writers, he's one of the people i took as inspiration, every volume and arc, every stage of Rudy's life is a completely different journey, i got hooked by this story and personally thought "this is one of the best fantasy stories ever written" when i saw "the labyrinth of teleportation arc", the complex and crazy amount of effort put in this story and in the character development of this protagonist is out of this world, Rifujin is absolutely a genius, and the adaptation looks promising, i'm rlly happy to see this day coming when i got to see finally an anime adaptation.

I watched the first 2 episodes. Loved it. Went to read the web novel. Finished all 24 volumes (because the webnovel had 24, it was the light novel that had 25) in just 3 weeks. That's how amazing this series was. I completely binged the webnovel. I loved it.

I knew absolutely nothing about the show so i watched the first 2 episodes, in preview release, with no expectations whatsoever. My favorite isekai is "That time I got reincarnated as a Slime"; I love the LN, the manga and i felt like the beginning of the anime was the best start for an isekai ever. That's until i watched these two episodes. I'm astonished. Aside for the production value, i think that this was a perfect start I'm SO hyped to see how it continues

I've read the tweets of Mr. Nagatsuki lol, he's completely gushing over it. Edit: Also this show looks absolutely beautiful. Studio bind should carry the torch of the ultimate isekai studio in the future. Like Gigguk said, Studio bind is the Avengers for isekai.

This is by far the best anime of the season. In a way it reminds me of a lot Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash in that it has a similar, more mature tone to it than most Isekai. It is definitely written more toward the upper end of the typical 12-17 year old age spectrum we typically see and that is a breath of fresh air to me.

there are two scenes im absolutely hyped to see and i hope they will do it justice. 1. one is the moment he went naked into Prison and met the Monkey Boy and proceeds to act like an all knowing Guru :D 2. when Eris went into the Sword School and beat the condescending girl in the schnoz like a savage.

once i heard the news of mushoku tensei geting adapted into an anime i was super hyped. last time i was this hyped was when i heard the news of index s3 getting it's long awaited third season (which ended up not delivering the hype it could've gotten). now that i have the same hype, i hope the anime will do mushoku tensei justice. it's looking good as far as it looks now

I feel like people hyping up Mushoku Tensei could probably hurt it more than help it. Im hyped up for it, and I know for sure that fans of the series will also be pleased with it, but people are hyping it a LOT on internet, and when new viewers watch it and find out its basically the same as other isekai, it wont matter us saying "this did it first", its just going to be another isekai. And lets face it, it IS without a doubt another isekai. With that said, I think that the most special thing about Mushoku was that the MC may have been OP, but he didnt have a cheat ability. He trained hard for his power. And he stumbled a lot along the way too, which made seeing his progress that much more enjoyable. Really hope the series is a hit, cant wait to watch it animated.

I was worried of Mushoku Tensei becoming an anime. It is an amazing story but I never thought it would get an anime adaptation because of the story. The story did not fit typical anime that use "arcs" for progression, instead it was a slow adventure. Even if the anime is a bit off I will always appreciate Mushoku Tensei for what it is.

There were some good twists early on and it kind of drags in the middle, but my God by the end of reading the WN I was actually left with that empty feeling. It really does pick up tremendously later on and just the subjects that it tackles and the format of going through different phases of his life was just *muah* beautiful. I really hope this anime does it justice! But I will keep a tempered expectation. And yeah the whole 'too' cultured thing xD. Although that may add to the stellar character progression given his state at the end of the story. Also, Rudy is powerful, sure, but I never got the sense that he was broken.

As I sit here waiting for the next part of season one, I have to think that just with the content of the light novel, 24 episodes will not be enough. All that being said, I knew nothing about this Isekai before seeing something about it on another site and figured to give it a watch, three episodes in I was buying light novels as they came out and it has been remarkable. The anime is beautiful and the light novels are such a great read that I have read the first eleven I have on hand three times each and watched the anime another four times. I so hope there is enough interest to let the anime run the whole course.

After episode 3 i can honestly say this may become my favorite isekai. The character stuff is so smooth and organic. Its so well paced.

All I can say is studio bind are doing a great work so far, the animation style and overall quality make iTunes of the best quality over two years , I hope to see some more amazing progress in the coming years because right now they can give a number of renounced studios a run for there money. The more 'distasteful' parts of the story, especially how 'cultured' the MC acts at the beginning aren't flaws. Like imagine thinking character development is good but then also saying a story is bad because the main character is a bad person.

Anyone else wanting a second season of Hai to Gensou no Grimgar? I thought it was beautifully composed with is painterly backgrounds and sharp pencil work. Along with its brutal action and compelling story, I honestly hope they make another season.

I found this video AFTER watching the first 2 episodes...so far an absolutely brilliant adaptation I think. Admittedly I'm just a manga reader (Monkey brain no like no pictures) but I'm already so captured that I've added it to the many shows I'm waiting for the next episode of. I wish I had a deadline to know when season 1 will likely be finished so I can just binge watch it all at once but at the same time I imagine I won't have the patience for a show this good.

I don't see why people would hate the author for making our perverted neet mc realistic, how can a grown man act like a child? It's cringey af, even as a young adult thinking of acting the way babies act is absolutely horrific. This in itself is one of the things that make jobless reincarnation amazing, mc is not too smart as to hide his cultured-ness but not too dumb as to revealing he was reincarnated. The underlying lessons provided in the novel also stands out given that it's an op mc genre where most of them is just "Being powerful is awesome". Whilst this teaches hard work produces hard-earned results and the consequences of leading a lazy life... sucks

I usually give every anime a one or two episode shot to see if it can capture my attention. Halfway through episode one I was totally in love with this Anime. I now find myself so upset while watching it to find out that it is over i want more and more. I find myself watching this over and over again to see if i might have missed something important.
