They are reliable and hold up for a long time if you keep em under about 350 whp and maintain them right. I daily drive my 180 in nice weather and drift and auto x it on weekends its my more reliable s chassis if anything in working on my rb way more often that has let me sit sr never has lol

I would imagine its just a gradual ignition cut or fuel cut or combo of both. But properly shimmed head and gradual ignition cut will save rockers too.
