I also have a chronic illness and when days gets bad, it's ok to take care of yourself and focus on just feeling better. The dishes in the sink can wait, and you're not being selfish or irresponsible for staying in bed. You're taking care of you when you really need it! I love you and this pain isn't forever the good days will be back!

I lived with a Puerto Rican lady and she always made omletes and served them with rice. She told me her grandma used to make them for her when she stayed in Puerto Rico. It was a super comforting food.

I believe omurice is Japanese-Western food, like curry rice, napolitan spaghetti and etc. I think they got the idea from western omelette and ketchup, and that's how it became a "Yoshoku".

Having a low spoon day, curled up on the sofa watching Simon and martina videos and this pops up in my subscription box, perfect timing! Also, I have never seen omelette on rice anywhere in Europe. The only time I have seen a whole egg on rice, normally fried, is when it’s eastern food.

My 2 y.o kitty just passed away. A vet misdiagnosed him and it all went spiraling downhill from there. He drifted off peacefully in a sleep-like calmness while I bawled my eyes out making noises that would even scare Shrek. I really, really, REALLY needed a silly video from mah fave duckies. LOL you guys' jetlagged antics really cheered me up after a rough weekend. also, i eat "spaghetti rice" all the time! back when my doctor first told me i needed to avoid wheat, i still lived with my parents and my mum makes amazing pasta sauce! but i couldn't eat the noodles, so i started making myself a pot of rice so i could still enjoy it because they seemed similar enough. now 3 years later i still eat it regularly! definitely recommend trying ur favourite pasta sauces on rice 😋
