The latest game released under Chucklefish is Robotality's game, Pathway.
Featuring charming pixel art- Pathway sets you into North Africa to take on enemies with names that will flag me on youtube AND the undead.
Combat takes place in a simple, yet well executed tactical, turn based combat system similar to a similar entry to Pathway (from Robotality as well) Halfway.. or the one we'll see people throw around a lot, XCOM.
Simple and intuitive, Pathway is a solid title that is hampered only by it's lack of scope - which is to be expected I guess from an indie game with a price tag of around $15.

Sooo yeah, just discovered you and i'm already happy with the type of channel i've found (not this case, turn based games don't really stick with me for too long ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) Also if you're still in the "pixel art" mood and just in case it went over your radar, i would warmly suggest you to keep an eye open for "Radio the Universe" and for when it comes out. It's a kickstarter founded action/atmospheric game that is being developed by a single person for almost 7 years by now and it seems to be pretty much classic Zelda blended with Dark Sci-fi with a tinge of Dark Souls, Yume Nikki and Symphony of the Night thrown into the mix. Except for some images and gifs on the twitter and kickstarter updates, and the most "recent" video on the youtube one, there's isn't really a lot of information on this game or when it will be released (confirmed for this year, so at the very worst is still a few months away), but from what can be gathered it has a lot of potential to be a great Single player experience.

Clicked on this video as soon as I saw "grid based strategy game". I'm still waiting for a game that can fill Heroes of Might and Magic's shoes, given that the last two installments in that franchise have been rather disappointing. If anyone knows any such games, I'd love to hear about them!

What a cool game ... except that's the kind of game I would download and then gat stuck in the first few levels uninstall the game (and write a hate comment.) :( So I think I won't buy that game. By the way thank you for making this video.

I'm personally over roguelike games. I'm coming up on 40 years old and no one has improved upon Shining Force 2/Final Fantasy Tactics. Shit is getting depressing. At this point, I would probably gush praise upon a reskin.

I think some of it is Nostalgia because objectively I know the new XCOM games are better than FFT but it still doesn't compare to me.
