Thanks very much. Ive never used Tableau but I’ve trained a few ex-users and read many comments. The end goal of interactive visuals is the same but the required knowledge and techniques to build reports is very different.

As a power query user already, how much of a learning curve is there with Power BI? I’m and advanced user of excel and Access but just recently got Power BI.

Power Query is a good start, if you were using Power Pivot and DAX then you're a long way there. Like learning Excel it takes time and practice and you get gradually better. It can be a steep learning curve to do it yourself. I'm biased but I'd recommend my book for folks getting started pbi.guide/book 😀.
