While many people might wish for a show like Recovery to return, the entire landscape for discovering new music has inexorably shifted. There is no longer a tv show or a radio station that everyone listens to. Instead there are thousands of little channels on RU-vid, Spotify, Facebook, etc. In some ways this has given more opportunity for new music to reach an audience of some kind. However, there has been a loss of a larger sense of community and shared experience.

Best music show ever! Get out on the piss on a Friday night then drag myself out of bed to rock out to Recovery. The best of times…

God I’m so pumped for this! Recovery defined 100s of Saturday mornings & my life. For anyone who doesn’t know, they’re back doing a follow up show on RU-vid called “Recovered” (😂💁🏼)
