This has been the best explanation I've had without needing a serious physics understanding. The visuals are also so intuitive and really clarify how sound is translated. For so long I've wondered about how we classify sounds in music. I'm glad I started digging into oled screen speakers and came across the video.

it didn't say that sound has the speed of sound, or that not all air particles travel at the same speed(the speed of sound), but most of them do

Completely awesome! Great colours and textures. How did you do the texture for the brass instruments? I turned on the subtitles and they work well. Would be good to show this to high school science students, people with hearing impairment may be interested too. Thanks. Waiting for your next one.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! The brass instruments are all just a glossy BSDF Beckmann texture with 0.0 roughness and color FFE89F. That's the greatness of Blender- just one node and ya can make a great material.

So cool! The visualization of record grooves was super helpful to see. I've heard it explained many times in my life but only kind of understood how grooves could capture so much information about tonal quality and timbre. It's all in the sound wave! My favorite moment is 00:29. "Hello!"
