you will be rewarded for that good dead. If you make an intention to do a good deed, but dont carry it out that is true intention. you will be rewarded even if you dont carry out that good deed for some reason, if you make an intention to do something bad. you would not get a sin until you carry out that bad deed. Allah knows best

brothers and sisters of Islam i have a question..if a muslim person was to do a good deed without knowing, does that person still be rewarded for that good deed ? or do you have to be conscious of that good act to be awarded ?

As Salam Aliekom my response to the Masjids Article and Lecture on Taqwa Taqwa requires we all have the facts, the Knowledge and Our WAR at Home appropriately Dealt with, it requires us to engage in incorporating the Advances in Education, Training, Counseling, Consultation and any underlying conditions resulting from the Trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress, and the effects of Poverty, Racism and Prejudice are dealt with as in the example of the Prophet Mohammed PBUH in encouraging and establishing regular daily access to open Dialogue and the seeking of Knowledge some 1400 Years Ago and Desperately needed around the World today in one on one, as a family, groups or more depending on the subject and need. This Huge Gift The Prophet Mohammed can save me, each of and the World. Silence, Shaming, Blaming Silence it kill People it robs people of the will to ask for help, believe that they are worthy being helped. I am here to tell you and the World we are all worthy of being counted as Companions of Allah, God, the Creator and we all have much good work, loving and caring to do in first answering the Dua's the Prayers pn our pwn onmost Hearts, Minds and Souls in Gaining the Skills to Be the Best People, Families, Communities, , Nations and Worlds.
