I am a real world Airbus pilot with thousands of hours flying the real aircraft and thought it would be fun to have a look at the new detailed simulation of the longest baby 'bus by Toliss. Hopefully you find this useful and it brings another perspective to your simulation. Any thoughts or comments are welcome!

A really interesting tutorial, covered with your usual clarity. It's amazing how much the normal control law does for pilots, all of which is probably taken completely for granted! :-). I'm greatly looking forward to the next installment in this series!

This is definitely why I love flying the Airbus. I know some people say you aren't a pilot anymore, just a driver, and sure I enjoy yanking and banking in something smaller (AF Vet) but at the same time it can get annoying retrimming all the time when you just want to get from A to B :)

Absolutely fascinating. Your video would appear to make it kinda hard to go back to flying Boeings after getting a taste of what an Airbus can do. I just bought the Toliss A319 (The Mini Cooper of Airbuses) and can't wait to give it a try.

I stumbled into this channel and it has been really enjoyable. I’m very comfortable on analog airplanes having flown them for 30+ years but I am fascinated by the Airbus and Bernard Ziegler’s design philosophy. As I watch your law tutorials I am curious about Airbus power lever settings. My thrust master has detentes. In the Airbus I suspect you use the detents to command a programmed profile and not a specific thrust or EPR, is this correct? Still working out how the thing is supposed to fly but as I learn more it becomes more intuitive. Thanks again for the effort.

Nice vid! Your tutorials are great! On the toliss a319 takeoff while trying to rotate at 3deg/s there’s a noticeable decrease of rotation rate around 10deg pitch, and more aft stick is needed to pull through this. Is that also the case on the real plane?

did you read when there was a first officer who kept pulling a very slight back pressure on stick they though the aircraft was overspeeding but it was not the aircraft stalled not good there was faults with the pfds and speed tapes so like you say got be careful in both laws

good evening!! Im new to Xplane 11 and the Toliss airbus A-321-200 i have a fair understanding of the dynamics and flight controls/flight rules but i have spent the last couple months, trying to learn and understands the systems. in simple terms im in need of some help!! Im willing to pay someone for their time to teach or help me with flight planning MCDU programkming and all the following !! looking forward to hearing from someone =) thanks
