I agree that it will most likely be a counter and specifically sendo will use the smash as a bait. Since wally was using a lot of smashes it was to show sendo how ricardo would counter that so he can prepare so sendo will throw the smash and when ricardo goes for a counter sendo might also counter that. Sendo will most likely not going to win anyways but i think he will drop Ricardo with that.
I really like the videos and theories you share. One thing id like to say is that at certain points, the background audio comes close to drowning out your voice but also im half deaf so it might just be me. Regardless, keep up the good work :)
I always thought that it was a balance issue and Sendo basically tripped Ricardo up alongside the scruffing punch. It was a slip but it looked like a knockdown. Because Ricardo doesn’t take it hard and when questioned he says to Stewart, that it’s good that people believe that. If he was actually knocked down legit, he’d be more impressed by Sendo than he initially was. Yes he regards him as a threat but there’s not the fear of god.
