The Barash Vow comes from the 2017 Darth Vader comic run and is expanded upon in The High Republic miniseries The Blade, and introduced into live action for the first time in The Acolyte with the character of Master Torbin (Dean Charles-Chapman).
The Acolyte is airing on Disney Plus now.
When is The Acolyte set? The Acolyte is set in the High Republic era, some 100 years before The Phantom Menace.
