Made a NE SE with this power pass and loving her. Going to mainswap from my DI SH. You are not wrong about the gatekeeping, and it’s taking me forever to make the level of gems I need. I finally got a 9 on her. She was great for learning raids on, and she’s pretty fun so she’ll stay my second main for now. My first class I created was a MS Summoner and 100 percent correct about her😂 Though I’m still able to pull some CF with her.
i love my Shadow hunter alt, very fast to do Chaos dungeons with and pretty tanky have good survival in guardian raids, and you only need 2 gems if you play demonic. So its a pretty cheap alt alternative.
For me it's pretty simple when it comes to alts: the priority is as follows: cost > utility/synergy > difficulty > class community perception, so: S-tier: crit swift classes with a high amount of utility/good synergies and easy to play + all 3 supports A-tier: crit swift classes with a high amount of utility/good synergies but have medium or high difficulty (only downside is that it takes time to be decent at them) B-tier: spec classes with a high amount of utility/good synergies who don't need high level gems C-tier: spec classes with a high amount of utility/good synergies who need high level gems D-tier: transformation classes and classes with bad community perception
Tai scrapper, slayer, red gunlancer, fi wardancer, windfury aero - cheap to build, don't need high level gems to do well, easy to play, and all have either good utility or sought after synergies or both @@sidtse1222
@@sidtse1222 I imagine: Predator Slayer, Tai Scrapper, First Intent Wardancer, Aeromancer. I think I'd put more emphasis on consistent damage dealers--or just swift classes--instead of crit-swift vs spec aside from RE Deathblade. Because I'd put Hunger Reaper up there too with her decent stagger, and great counter, hyper mobility (easy to get out of danger), and fairly forgiving if you miss attacks, but those are some mix of spec-swift with anywhere from 50/50 to full swift. Pistoleer Deadeye also might be S-tier despite their spec building.
THIS right here is what an "alt focus" tier list should be comprised of. Mr streamer's list is based on general perception: dmg > everything else. Punisher in A and Pistoleer in B pretty much conforms to that notion. 🙃
Personally I think you missed an important point to consider when making alts, which is the chaos dungeon/cube clear efficiency. It's easy to hate doing dailies on alts that have awful CD clear speeds and feel useless in cube.
My favorite money making alt is my Gunlancer (blue). He was very cheap to build, class engraving lvl1, you can be flexible with skills/engravings, and you don't even need super high lvl gear because people take you for your synergy. All those squishy high lvl backattack classes like deathblade or striker etc, they need your buffs for their biggest numbers and shields/taunts. This means you get into groups quite easily (as long as there isn't another GL already). +It's chill to play. I mean, you can literally watch a movie during most fights and still perform very well and don't have to be afraid the grp might wipe because of you or stuff like that. And if you want a little more challenge/bigger numbers you can go red.
EW deadeye has a terrible rotation considering the back/close attack requirement. They need to increase the damage of pistol skills or reduce the dmg drop from not being inside the bosses cheeks. You will get maybe one or two shots off on the back before the boss jumps and its nearly impossible to keep up with ppls dmg. Im legit only in groups for crit syn
I main FMH soul eater and it’s extremely fun and has very high damage but if you miss your pink skills while in your identity then your dps is over 😂 but besides the gems it’s very cheap. I did a 5x3+1 for 25k gold while having to cut 15+ gems so I’d recommend it
cause different class engravings have different requirements to perform? That's literally half the point of this video. Different class engravings are on different tiers of alt-friendliness
Pretty sure predator, taijutsu, windsurf all comparable damage maybe fi swelling but like most what I hear. I personally don't like my pinnacle most weeks.
One thing i would add is, its not always the best to have easy alt to play, I have a lot of friends with EO as alts, and they like it. Why? Becasue its not too easy class. Yea sure its one of the most advanced classes to play, but they find there fun. Sure if you want to get only gold making alt, pick paladin and dont care, there is literally nothing to improve on, and half of the raid you can just afk XD
i wouldnt really put predator slayer into S group yes its fun but she requires high lvl gems imo lvl 9 at least when i made jump from lvl 7 gems to lvl 10 cd gems she feels so much better and smoother, you should've put aeromancer and hunger reaper into S tier instead of pinnacle glavier and predator slayer
I heard your wardancer feedback and tbh idk why you think eso wardancer is hard to play. Eso is one of the most braindead classes in term of rotation and she has a really good performance in honestly all raids. Honestly her main downside is that she is a spec class so high cost and she is kinda gem dependant. But no eso is definitely way easier to play than glaiver and easier than fi wardancer since fi wardancer is also kinda easy to play just not as easy as eso. Edit: also forgot to mention that eso wd abilities are very easy to land only thing you need to remember is the order to use the abilities but landing them is very easy and works very fluid as long as you have the required spec breakpoint. The dmg is so frontloaded that works so well in most raids since she can just unload her dmg and have her cd come up while doing mecs.
Best class for alt at the moment is Surge Db with 1 lvl 9-10 dmg gem you r all set to bus every single content and actually compete with people with more ilvl than you ! Master summoner feels bad but again with 1 lvl10 gem it does pump a lot Breaker also really really good class with utility dmg def 2 dmg gems and you r set All supports dirt cheap and can join all lobbies/buses
SH does zzz dps with lvl7 gems and lets be real slayer does S tier dmg with minimal investment. And if ur making an alt id say back attack doesnt matter that much since you probably know fights already so its easy to get value.
I mained slayer, have 6x of 'em, dont recommend them. Yes, they are good overall but dmg sucks. Every other class powercreeps past pred slayers easily + pred is entropy. Even if you have 90% back attack & hit the skills, dmg isnt enough, every other class out dps them even if they dont play close to perfect. Slayer needs rework asap.
