Batteries will be the future, just wait a few years :) They are just much more efficient and safe.

Also Batteries don't need sth like platinum which one is really rare.

@@dimos5422 200kwh of battery will give you 10 hours with constant 30HP for the cell mass weight of 1 ton but peak at 1500HP if unequipped with the right components., what is generally the wight that is looked for in a small tractor?

The first two are different size and price than the third one. Can't compare them.

Fendt is also a non starter for those who are not subsidized by CH.

500 electric ps are much more than 500 ICE ps. Batteries are needing a bit more time and also the big companies don't want to make completely new vehicles, they are using the bones of the ICE versions which makes many things difficult and ineffective.

10kW * 10 hrs overnight = 100kWh. Why do you need 150kW lines?

@@peterwilliams1119 because no farmer in harvest season has the fucking time to wait 10 hours to charge a tractor most of the time we run from 5am to 9pm that's 16 hours these electric tractors only last around 5-8 hours some times we run our tractors 24/7 it would never be viable they way it is now. also to charge the tractor means we need to drive it back home and with massive equipment hooked up that slows you down and to disconnect said equipment is a pain in the ass.

@@phalanx3803 these tractors aren't targeted at that market. These are perfect for a dairy farmer that operates inside for limited times a day doing tasks like bedding up and scraping out! Leaving plenty of time for the batteries to trickle charge preserving battery life!

i just saw a video of an indian manufacturer i believe it was caled hav it uses a diesel engine to produce electricity and has 4 motors all around if i am not mistaken it looks weird af but interesting concept to chase i would not buy it myself but it is interesting

Why you only have 10kW? Most and agriculture and farms easily have 50kW available. Even with just 15kW it takes 3-4 hours to charge these tractors fully.

​@@movax20h here in Australia where only given household power if we want more we have to pay for the larger lines or extra lines if we want 3 phase. and 3-4 hours we don't have that time to wast and that's for one tractor we run 3 tractors and we run them hard an electric tractor would have to charge at least twice and that's for day work if bad weather is moving in we run our tractors 23 hours a day they only stopping for refilling fuel or seed, driver swaps and routine maintenance. we dont have time to fuck about waiting for a tractor to charge when a normal tractor can be refueled in under 5-10 mins.

@@phalanx3803 well, then electric tractor isn't really for you. Things might improve in the future, but not this decade probably.

I am waiting for the diesel-electric tractors, at least to get rid of constantly stirring your gearbox, and to get the huge torque from start. Heard that Deutz-Fahr is underway with one for mid size broad acre farming

@@dybetanker7279 it still amazes me that diesel electric tractors haven't truly made it to market yet there have been diesel electric trains for years. Even though battery electric vehicle still won't be viable for many years the motors and inverter technology which are much more efficient and smaller these days should really be applied to diesel electric vehicles take a ute like a ram 3500 now that would be cool to see diesel electric. I don't know if it ever made it to market but John Deere had this cool hybrid system where the tractor was still driven by standard gearbox but it had two generators that came off it that powered electric motors on heavy trailers.
