If locally we come across Barf food from a nutritionist, and they argue that their food mix is well balanced and enriched, are there any comments if they affect genetics, fertility, temperament, etc? Food effects everything. But it could cause a dog to not feel good causing temperament/personality changes, it 100% effects fertility. It will effect how much waste is produced and can effect just overall health and well being - just like us. It does not effect genetics that I know of - but a poor quality food could not fully support a growing puppy leading to issues, like poor joints. Good food is the best thing you can do for your dog.

heather, thanks for the video. What formula do you use for the BMD pups? Some are 30% protein and 20% fat and that seems so high calorie for a growing large breed pup. When and what do you switch to for maintenance? Thank you:)
