VV is such a good example of how artifact sets could change an entire element so much. They could literally do the same with geo. And Archaic Petra feels like a solid attempt at this, but it just has some issues that prevent it from being a serious competition to vv.

How I would buff weaker reactions: • Superconduct - Now reduces Physical RES and DEF. • Overloaded - Higher DMG in general. Overloaded will trigger again if it comes into contact with Electro or Pyro. • Shatter - Now works similarly to Vaporize except it has a ×3 multiplier. • Crystalize - Each type of Crystalize shard provides a different buff. ■ Cryo - Increases CRIT Rate, and when hit by an attack increases CRIT DMG. ■ Pyro - Increases ATK, and when hit by an attack retaliates with a bust of AOE Pyro DMG. ■ Hydro - Increases HP, and when hit by an attack reduces Skill and Burst CD. ■ Electro - Increases EM, and when hit by an attack restores energy.

I wish bosses that can't be frozen still had the freeze aura so blizzard strayer works on them.

It's a very good reaction since BOTH Hydro & Electro aura can coexist at the same time (similar to Cryo + Dendro, Electro + Quicken, Dendro + Burning), allowing you to trigger multiple reactions at once. The reason why Taser is strong because the Anemo unit can swirl both elements at the same time. 19:10 Electro Resonance is underrated (or undervalued). The resonance itself may sound weak at first glance, but if you understand what it does, it's actually pretty decent. The resonance generates an Electro *particle*, meaning that it can be affected by Energy Recharge. 1 Particle = 3 Energy for the same element (though you get less when off-field) Average team rotation lasts for about 20-25s, meaning that you can generate 4-5 Electro particles throughout the whole rotation. It is also the reason why Fischl can run close to zero ER with double Electro.

I would swap electro and anemo, but I agree otherwise. Kazuha was my Hyperbloom trigger in 3.0 and 3.1, and I managed to get c0 Kuki when I got Nahida. Electro's reactions aren't enough to allow it to overtake the versatility of anemo to me.

Always love your videos! I wanna say that I actually really love Overload reaction ^-^. Idk if the damage is great, but I'd argue it's super useful to stagger enemies and stop them from big, heavy attacks. It's similar to Freeze in that way, giving you time to gain energy, get healed, get your skill off cooldown and stuff like that. It's been a blessing for me in spiral abyss at times.

Hydro is the bedrock of the elemental system; remove it and all meta reactions are gone. Hydro was (and still is) the most important element in the game both before and after Dendro. There's good reason why XQ, Childe, Ayato, Yelan, and Kokomi all occupy the top echelon in tierlists. Dendro drastically changed the way the game was played and offered a competitive reaction to play amidst the Vape, Freeze, and Tazer centric meta pre-Sumeru. Its high damage floor easily clears Abyss with very little investment. It also has incredibly good synergy with Electro-charge which boosts its ease of use. Electro is an easy to overlook element but its reactions Electro-charged and Quicken are the best in the game due to both being capable of maintaining double auras. Electro allows more Dendro Cores to be produced and almost mandatory for all good Dendro teams like Hyperbloom, Fridge, and Curry. Anemo sucks. Almost makes me wish that Geo, Hydro, and Cryo had sandstorms, whirlpools, snowstorms respectively to detract Anemo's monopoly on CC. Its inability to react with Dendro comes as a caveat which can be utilized to ensure ownership of Hyperbloom triggers being the Anemo unit. Obviously, half of its immense versatility and power comes from VV set. Pyro. Oh, how the mighty has fallen... Vape is just a multiplicative reaction and requires actual investment into the Pyro unit compared to Dendro who offers similar DPS by slapping a bunch of EM artifacts on a unit. The anti-synergy with Dendro cements it as an element in the bottom half of the element tierlist. Pyro has very little room to deviate from being a Vape, Reverse Melt support or Burgeon unit. Freeze is insanely OP, has a ridiculously strong artifact set to boost damage on Frozen targets, and incredibly lax survivability requirements but its main weakness are Bosses. Sure, Mono-Cryo exists but the investment required is high compared to other teams that do similar output while not losing out much against bosses. Cryo exists for Freeze. As of 3.4 there aren't any good Reverse Melt teams other than Ganyu or Wriothesley but due to needing Bennett, they prevent you from playing National. Geo units are expensive in terms of resin (due to Husk coexisting with Clam) and primos (since the Geo character ecosystem is self-contained and has very little synergy with other elements and mostly non-transferrable to other teams). HYV doesn't know what to do with this element since the ZL outrage and it doesn't seem like they will do anything to update Geo. It's never the best element for any type of content and therefore less valuable for the average player (even more so after Dendro's release).

Imagin they made a artifact set for geo that everytime you crytalize you get %dmg increase or it creates a shockwave of that crytalized element and applys it aoe wise. This would boost geo allot.

Great ranking! However, I would place Anemo at #3 and Electro at #4. Anemo’s versatility, shredding (via Viridescent), spreading of elemental auras, ability to absorb other elements, chaining reactions, & crowd control/grouping capabilities are too useful and powerful than what Electro can offer. (Even if Viridescent didn’t exist, Anemo can still offer a lot more than Electro).

The only reason why electro is that high is because of hyperbloom that is all, if not, it’s supposed to be under pyro

If the shields gave you for instance Hydro Crystal + Pyro Crystal = Vaporize shield causing vaporize when you get hit or nearby aoe, then have Electro + Hydro = Superconduct Shield where it causes the opponnet to take physical damage amplified back at the attacker. They have so many ways to fix Geo and I came up with this in two seconds.

If cryo and Dendro could have a “preserve” reaction like how you can freeze vegetables to make them last much longer, then using dendro again would cause them to defrost and increase hyperbloom dmg, that would make Cryo much better.

It needs a new set that does petra better than pettra And it needs really strong units that can be inoffensive fourth slots in teams and be THE best fourth slot . Not only that but they can be strong drivers aswell , so like sucrose is an anemo driver . If geo has a GOOD suppory set and then a strong on field driver ( who scale off em) then you can have a team with reactions with a shielder , on fielder and buffer in one slot . Geo national or electro charged if you will Tue current geo units are only good in mono geo m which is the opposite of what geo was supposed to be

Hydro is the absolute best and I've been saying it since the beginning. It's been my favorite element which is why I vowed to get the Hydro Archon to my first C6 R5 since I learned about Archons. Also part of the reason why I got Kokomi to C6 on her rerun. It makes it a huge bonus though how Furina is my favorite character in the game plus top waifu

I also think that hydro edges out dendro because while Dendro has powerful reactions,it's only really bog damage dealers are Alhaitham and Tighnari (and Nahida in certain context but she's an enabler mostly.) Even then, a good portion of their damage relies on reactions. Hudro has several strong damage dealers like Childe,Neuvillette,Yelan and even a four star option in Xingqiu. It has a better balance of support and raw damage in my opinion.

To be honest I will say cryo is higher than Pyro because as you mentioned while not having not as many direct reaction it has many indirect reaction

Dendro is good but the big problem with it is that the ascession materials for it are not available. I am in Inazuma right now and I got Kirara but I don't have the materials to get it over 20 level So, I basically can't put her in my team and similar for most Dendro characters. I am currently strugling to get materials for even Ayaka [my only 5 star] since I am F2P

A good list and good arguments backing it up. The only nitpick is that anemo should be above electro. Electro itself is not really that strong of an element. Hyperbloom and Burgeon are dendro reactions in my mind, as seeds only need to be touched by the element to proc. So I only give partial credit to pyro and electro there. That said aggravate is quite strong and easy to play, so I do think that warrants electro being above pyro (burning? yuck). Meanwhile anemo is the most flexible element after hydro and almost mandatory for teams that rely on amplifying reactions. VV is the best artifact set in the game and only works on anemo units. Granted Deepwood for dendro is nearly a mirror image of it and is close in power, but I'm also not arguing that anemo is better than dendro.

tbh electro should be lower than anemo cause as u said its just got significantly better cause dendro. does hyperbloom needs a bit more brain power than aggravate cause u need to time the cores before the electro? and anemo also works in most team comps before and after dendro, cc helps freeze, and pyro, em for dendro and the swirl

I think you may be viewing it wrong, to be honest. While a lot of electro's success is due to dendro, (which is why you ranked dendro higher), likewise, a lot of dendro's success is directly related to electro. It feels like if electro was the one released in 3.0 instead of dendro, it would be ranked #2 on this list. I tend to look at it this way. Electro without dendro: Electrocharged, Superconduct, and overload. You get the soup baseline without dendro entirely. Dendro without electro: Burn, Burgeon, Bloom. Let's be honest, while nilou does make bloom work as a baseline, I would not take burgeon bloom and burn over electrocharged, superconduct, and overload. No way in hell, in my opinion. Not to mention dendro is pretty incompatible with anemo, and hence lack grouping. That being said, I still think anemo is over them both. Hydro > Anemo > Electro > Dendro > Pyro > Cryo > Geo, IMO.

My ranking would be: 1. Hydro 💦 2. Anemo 🌪️ 3. Dendro 🌱 4. Electro ♒️ 5. Pyro ❤️‍🔥 6. Cryo ❄️ 7. Geo ⛰️ 8. Physical 🔘

putting anemo at #4 is awful lmao. The res shred of vv and the many anemo supports just make it one of the best elements in the game. the only downside to an anemo character is they can't swirl dendro so are effectively neutered in most dendro teams, but anemo can still work in hb/burgeon teams where you swirl the electro/pyro repsectively. I would place it in joint second with dendro, with electro being 4th.

11:45 klee/yanfei are as good if not better than thoma's burgeon since they don't require any energy recharge and can go 100% elemental mastery. You're running xingqiu anyways so you're not dying without thoma's shield and you're doing way more damage. I feel like any pyro character is a better burgeon character than dehya. Half the time she can't even burgeon because her coordinated attacks are horrible. They are slow and have horrendous hitboxes... She shouldn't be worth mentioning as a burgeon option in my honest opinion.

Dendro is hurting the game in general. That is the reason why they gave us Collei for free as a sad mitigation. It is hard to enjoy the game when you don't have or don't like dendro. You can do amazing with other teams but if it is not hyperbloom then you are playing the game wrong.

I’m not gonna lie I would put it like this: Hydro -> Electro -> Dendro -> Anemo -> Pyro -> Cryo -> Geo The reason I put Electro over Dendro is because Hyperbloom and Quicken are both dependent on Electro as well so they share ownership of it. But after that Electro still has Electrocharged which sets up half of the good teams Electro has. Electrocharged is even what pulls Hyperbloom above Burgeon. Electrocharged allows Overloaded to get play in Overvape. You get taser, soup, etc. I think you heavily underestimated how good Electro charged is tbh. Dendro without Electro is Bloom Burgeon and Burning. Burning is kinda like Electrocharged but not as good as its elemental reapplications are worse. Bloom without Nilou is 😅, Burgeon is pretty good but the problem is unlike Hyperbloom Burgeon has to rely on Burning instead of Electrocharged. Electrocharged fuels Hyperbloom while Burning stops Burgeons. So yeah I think that Electrocharged just inches Electro above Dendro to be honest. I also think Overloaded is better than people think but that’s because nobody builds their characters full Em like it needs. The same you build your Hyperbloom Kuki, put her in Overloaded team and watch the big Explosions lol.
