This video was a huge help, I ended up getting the GRIT Airbox bag. I've had the bag for six months now and it has been great. Very durable and has a decent amount of internal storage pockets too. Thank you again for making this video, very helpful for new players like myself.

I was on the fence about the Grit Airbox and the Pacific Rink bag, esp since I will be travelling for hockey some...definitely glad i saw this video as it put to rest my fear of travel with the Grit bag, which has a much more durable feeling construction in person than it looks on video...thanks for the great content

I've got the best of both worlds, a giant Patagonia duffle built tougher than snot with neoprene nylon like the Mammoth, having shoulder straps like the Pacific, except the straps are on the topside so you don't put the dirty floor side against your street clothes. No inside dividers as I separate things with mesh ditty bags with an extra bag for the day's wet towel and undergarments Airflow really is not an issue for me as I unload/explode when I get home and dry everything thoroughly, the skates on my ski boot dryer. When everything is 100% dry I repack so I am ready to go on a moment's notice. As nice as the mesh GRIT Airbox is, it wouldn't serve me well being in the back of the truck in the rain and snow.

Great review. I like the concept of the Grit bag but living in the PNW of the US it rains here a lot. Since I typically put the gear in the back of the truck it might actually get more wet. Going to look hard at the Pacific Rink.

The Pacific Rink bag is pretty good. I'll always choose a simple pro bag over all the gadgets and bells and whistles though

How would you compare these to the canvas team bags a lot of us use. The canvas bags general travel (including fly) very well and last years. Could one of these do that kind of duty? It would be nice to have organization and durability.

Ryan I bought an air blade and used it for awhile. I found it to be about 12-14 grams more in weight over my 2017 1N stick with both in 87 stiffness. It is very tough stick with many hits on it. I play at the mid A/Gold level and I had a player on our city team try it and said he liked it except the blade flexed more than a conventional stick. I agree but I got used to it and shot the same as I did with the bauer 1N. The balance of the stick is more toward the blade so it feels heaver than it really is. As far as having a high puck speed for me it seem a bit faster on average but if I loaded each stick correctly the shots seemed the same. The blade has a very dead feel to it which helped me as I could catch the pucks better with it. Since it has a dead sound everyone looks at it after a slap shot as it doesnt make much of a sound.
