I like the player bag but not for what they're charging, agree with you on the jersey/sock pocket up top, that's a good feature. I've been looking at 3 row SUV's for a few years, not because I have kids, but because I want to transport a goalie bag with the second row up (I have a 2 row now, it fits horizontally barely). When I was playing goalie in the early 2000's I had a dodge neon, goalie gear had to go in the back seat lol
Any more goalie equipment reviews coming up? I’ve been eyeing the CCM Axis 2 glove with no finger stalls and that same chest piece. Wondering what your thoughts are on no finger stalls in a glove.
Do you know why this bag seems like a carbon copy of the Grit GX3 bag with a couple added features? From what I can tell it's a GX3 with the mesh pocket up top and the skate mat added. It seems like Conway + Banks started up around the same time Grit discontinued the GX3 so I'm wondering if there's a story behind it.
I have been using the player bag for over 3 years. My net for the jerseys is not ripped. It seems like you really stuffed it. I never put in more than 2 jerseys (No socks)
They have a sizing guide on their bag page. They have 3 different sizes to go from. Junior 110L (30", 29 gallon): Best for U10 and great for coaches Small/Medium 137L (33", 36 gallon): Best for kids 11+ and adult players using S/M sized shoulder pads and pants Large/XL 190L (36", 50 gallon): Best for adult players using L/XL shoulder pads and pants, great for youth goalies Coach/Youth 90L (25", 24 gallon): Best for coaches and officials, also great for youth or going to the gym
I asked about this and was told there is no spine going through the base, but the base has more layers than the normal bag so it isn't just the normal bag with wheels.
I agree. I at least want the option to put my pads in the bag. Personally, I prefer the backpack option for carrying the bag which this doesn't have. I also find it odd that the dimensions of this bag aren't on the site. How is someone supposed to know if it will work with no sizing info? Oh well
@@HockeyReviews I must have been at an old link because this page is very different from the one I saw. This one you linked me to is perfect. Thank you!
