It wasn't all based on price, but that can be a big factor. When you compare the CS2 and the XLS they both have identical features really but one is close to double the price so that was the deal breaker
@@GodOfWar109 he's saying they arent that far off and its a HUGE price difference.... and yes, price does make a huge difference on whats the best gun.
So when it was CS2 vs DSR you went with the “cats ass” but when it’s CS2 vs XLS you go for value for the money? Basically the title should’ve been “Best Paintball Gun for the money 2018”
The title says best paint ball gun of 2018. Even say that money is not the object. But you use price to judge the guns... and end up with the gun with best bang for the buck.
As a bigtime paintballer of the late 90's early 2000's its really pretty shocking to see the lack of originality in the gun designs of today. They all more or less look the same.
They really did the m3+ dirty. PE literally does the same exact thing with their guns. CS1, CS1.5, geo 3, geo 3.1, geo 3.5, lv1, lv1.1, Lv1.5 they did subtle changes every half a year and charge you full price, yet dye gets BLASTED for it. The m3+ is the perfected version of their new lprless platform. Definitely an improvement over the m3s with all the upgrades they did to it. And dye is literally “plusing” all of the m3s’ for owners for basically nothing.
EMBrown801 funny thing is I actually have owned mostly PE guns. I still have my DC2 cocker that I’ll never get rid of. I’ve owned them all man. I stopped at the 3.5 and lv1. Hated how the cs1 felt and looked
They released that m3s “plus” in like a couple months after m3s. That was fucked up wouldnt u be pissed? They even raised their mask prices $10-20 thinking we won’t notice? Lol Most are just pb consumers who don’t know better so these pb companies can get away w it.
Yeah I like seeing these vs videos but I have to agree. Break up categories by price. It might also be a good idea to break each gun down into multiple categories, ie ease of maintenance, reliability, customizeability, kick, smoothness of operation/firing rate etc, then give each of these categories a score from 0-10. Do this for each gun, then tally the total score for each gun and the gun with the highest score wins.
@@Beaststang5oh I got mine from trademygun.com for $725 used about 1 yr ago and it smooth came with all the parts just like it was still brand new too .
Cory James because they are paid to shoot it to get publicity. You see dynasty shooting with pinokios instead of Tfx 2s because they get the most money from shooting them.
@@Ki-yg1ds True but it's not always about that I mean yeah they get paid but I've talked to the guys on LA Ironmen and alot just like the way the DSR shoots over the M3s/M3+. Also the pinokio loaders are amazing loaders and are tried and true and I definitely shoot one over a tfx2 any day but I love my Z2 Prophecy lol
@@Ki-yg1ds Anyways the point is I just don't the think the DSR should've got knocked out that quick and why they would even put in against the cs2 right from the start.
Planet eclipse all the way I have a gtek 160r and a lv1.5 have never fail on me in the cold 🥶 freezing 🥶 outside and hot as hell still they work great next one I’m getting is a cs2 baby.
Great vid good points for the consumer most bang for buck xls but sadly more pros use the cs2 for a reason and good luck any where north of la in the fall
Play paintball, get good, profit lol. The best way is to get out to your local field when other teams are there. Start talking to people and most importantly get out there and play. The more you play the better you'll get and you will get noticed. Be a good person at the field and someone a team would want to have represent them and their sponsors
I’m thinking about getting an rsx but idk if I should just save up a little extra and get an xls? If I played speedball a lot I’d just save and get the xls but I have to travel over 3 hours to get to a speedball field so I rarely go. That’s the only reason I’m not wanting to jump in right away and get an expensive gun. I love paintball and I don’t mind spending the money, I play every weekend but I’m not sure if it’s pointless to buy the xls if I’m capped at 10 bps anyway at the field I play on (woodsball field) any suggestions?
The rsx is a fantastic marker, but a little awkward tot hold and takes a few games to get used to it. The xls is essentially the same marker with better ergonomics
Ashraven PB so would you say it’s worth the extra money for the xls? I can get the rsx right now for $400 and the xls for $625 that’s a $225 difference.
@@lilx4647 i loved my rsx...but i did have some bolt issues that i had to send in to get fixed...with the xls you should have no problems besides lubing your orings and maintaining it. get the xls
TheBroz the regulator on this gun is indeed a bitch to service, but it is built to be rarely service that’s why it is recommended from manufacturer to be at least 1-2xs a year to be sent in for service. But other then that this gun shoots quiet and smooth hands down....not to mention how easy it is to lube or service the bolt!
@@brianbam7894 I know how quiet and smooth the GT is but, well, its still no better than the Luxe ICE. Most high end markers for the last few years have been moving towards ease of service, the Vanquish has been left far behind in this regard. Sure, it's reliable but I wouldn't say that much more than it's competitors. Everything will fail some day an if I'm at the field and my regulator experiences a problem I want to be able to sort this myself in a couple of minutes as I can with almost every other marker. I am an empire trained tech, I am trained to service the relay reg but even I wince at the concept of working on the reg while at the field. If you're paying top dollar you shouldn't have to rely on sending it in.
I'm trying to decide which gun I want to get between the gtek 170r dye DSR and shocker xls what's the best gun for my money can you do a comparison video
inVIcious I don’t even think their are any poppets still in production now. PE discounted the LV, Macdev stopped making the cyborg and I’m pretty sure Field one made their last runs for the G6r
I'm getting back into paintball and coming from a dm6, should i go with the dm14 or 15? theres a 15 on eBay for 500 and a 14 for 370, should i save the money and go with the 14 or is the 15 worth the extra money?
Yo guys I'm just looking for a little help here I just purchased an empire mini gs and a tank I was watching more videos and people are saying that the mini gs runs on a low pressure tank. But I bought a high pressure hk aluminum tank just to start with. Is it gonna be bad for the gun if I run it with that tank or will I be ok. Thanks
