Discover card is the best. $200-2500 limit, 1-2% cashback, automatically upgraded the card and refunded the deposit once you have a proven score.

Are you in debt or Do you have a bank account or a credit card with a good limit ? if yes then you just hit the jackpot, do you know you can get up to $10,000 three times in a week ($30,000 per week) depending on the credit card limit, contact spacehacker098@gmail.com or text me directly on +1 408 560 2297 ......i dont request for an upfront payment, i deal in percentage you take 20% and you send the remaining 80% to me. its 100% legit and very fast. and if youre fast enough i can make deposit three times in a day. you can do the math for 5 working days. make hay while the sun shine.

Capital one is the bomb. Last April I started to look objectively at my credit score, and... it was pitiful. It was at 515 trans, 525 equifax, 540 experian. Just terrible. I put the 200 dollars down for capital one secured card and after 6 months they raised the limit to 500. At the 1 year anniversary, April 2017, I got my deposit credited back to my account and I also got upgraded :), it went from being a secured card to the unsecured platinum. I just cannot believe it still. Here I am June 2017, still building up my score but it's a lot better, 633 trans 653 equifax 655 experian. I have no collections and I have 3 additional unsecured cards, I have a second capital one platinum, which I got before my upgrade, American express blue cash everyday, chase freedom unlimited. And It all started with Capital one secured card with $200 bucks and also being responsible with my credit in keeping my utilization low. I'm excited to see what a year from now looks like. For whoever decides to read this comment, I just want to let you know that it is possible to get out of that credit hole, there is never a right or wrong time to start rebuilding again. Keep it going and be patient and you will even feel amazing, the confidence that I now feel from taking control of my finances, I just have never felt before. To me now everything is possible. You can do it my friend.

vdls21 New to this subject of building credit so this might be a stupid question: but what made you decide to get multiple credit cards? Genuine question and would like your reasoning behind this decision just in case I decide to do the same thing.
@vanessad.2625
@vanessad.2625 7 лет назад
MrDJCue that is not a stupid question at all. It's because I didn't have a good mix of accounts also I didn't know this at the time, but you need multiple accounts. Not so many that it gets out of hand, but enough to show that you can manage your finances. I had ignored my credit for the better part of ten years. I basically had none. All I could get in the beginning was a secured card, so I stuck with that for 7 months before I applied for the capital one unsecured platinum card. I let my account age a bit before I applied for anything else. When I started getting offers for american express blue cash everyday card, I thought about it for a while. Once my score got bit better I went for it and I got it. Around the 1 year mark capital one ulgraded my secured card to an unsecured platinum card. They also credited the $200 initial deposit back to my account. I can't say that it will work like that for everybody, I had 2 aging hard inquieries, soI felt like I can apply and see what happens. Hope that answered your question.
@vanessad.2625
@vanessad.2625 7 лет назад
MrDJCue oh one more thing, the chase unlimited card has decent cash back, and it really balanced me out. Now I only use the amex and chase, the other two I keep as backups and although I don't use them as much, it's great to keep as they are the oldest accounts I have. Cancelling would be a bad move.

All of your videos helped me understand why it was worth the work and wait. I talked it over with my SO and we decided to have me apply for the capital one card and I got approved for $99 deposit, witch I paid happily. I look forward to seeing where I can go next in my credit climbing journey. Thank you so much!

Hector Baez well build your credit but try and pay the statement off in full each month as to the jail part i have a lot of family who have been to jail and a lot of them end up back in.... but some have worked hard and know own their own companies, house, nice cars ect. so good luck man we believe in you just know its gonna be hard and cops are always gonna fuck with you now that you have a record. Depending on what your in for you might be able to get a job in a union doing construction. construction pays well and union makes sure you don't hurt your body. remember it may be hard to save right now but once u start getting raises start saving a little every check. now that you have a credit card dont apply for many more just work with what you have and maybe open an account with credit karma to keep track of your credit. good luck man

That can happen, especially if you are new to the country. But you can normally overturn that kind of decision by calling them or going in to the bank. Also applying for a card from the bank you use for regular banking can help.

Hi Shifu, thanks for the timely reply. Unfortunately, while I was denied the secured Capital One card at the time of this post for the reason that I have an 'insufficient/no credit history' I almost immediately thereafter applied for the secured Discover card and was accepted. And I'm a U.S citizen from birth. I think your video demonstrated this is a good option, too.

Discover IT secured card. Asked for a $200 SECURED DEPOSIT. As soon as you pay your deposit and 2 weeks before they send you your card Discover reported my security deposit as a first payment to all three credit bureaus and i got a whopping +73 points on my credit report. This is prior usage OR ACTIVATION. FUCKING AMAZING. I recommend this card.

I can vouch for them i called customer services a week after I got my card activated they gave me the billing date and the reporting date. So that way u can manage your spending and get the most points on your credit score on your second month of usage. My scores have gone 73+ and the second month 21+ points. Very happy with this card. I made a purchase on amazon.com and I got $3.75 cash back ......FREAKING AMAZING. I love discover IT. I also got a capital one.....Not to happy with them. Cust service is ok but they did not give a credit reporting date Like Discover and they did not raise my score on the first month of usage only the second month around 19+ on my Trans-union report.

I just applied for the Discover it card, and it was approved. I think I'm going to like to bank with them. Discover and Capital one have been around a long long time and are very trustworthy and reliable. I am going to go with the Open Sky next. I think I'd like 2 cards in my wallet, because that will increase my score faster. Open Sky seems to have great rebuilding program, but Discover is a very stable, reliable and clean company.

Do you have an updated list of Best Secured Credit Cards for 2018?
@billmonson9986
@billmonson9986 6 лет назад
Things to remember about getting that score up: 1) NEVER spend more then 9% of your total cards credit limit per month. 2) Always pay in full every month to avoid interest fees. 3) Always pay on time to avoid Late Fees Up to $50 Each per month. A Hack would be several credit card companies allow you "Automatic Payment" so you don't miss a payment. If you pay less then 95% off of your Credit Card in full each month then your score will go down. 4) Call each one of your Credit Card companies and ask them What monthly dates are my payment due and what date do you report to each of the 3 credit bureaus?? This is key to know as you know when payment is due. Example: My Fingerhut C.C. is due on the 15th of the Month of every month and Fingerhut Reports to the Credit Bureaus on the 19th of each month. 5) Get 6-11 Credit Cards and NEVER CLOSE THEM. Closing a credit card because you simply don't use them will bring down your credit score. Open Secure Credit Cards to invest and if your tempted to spend on them, just cut them up but don't close the accounts. Credit Companies want you to have accounts 9 Years or more to increase your credit score. 6) Also don't forget to watch other youtube videos on "Get an 800 Credit Score in 45 days for 2018"

Discover is one of the few (or only one when I applied for it) that doesn’t require you closing your account to get the deposit back and by doing that shortening your average account life span. They gave back my deposit and increased my limit 250% after only six months of having it. Highly recommend Discover... their customer service is always very helpful too

I am wary of Wells Fargo after their whole fiasco creating fake accounts and demanding fees off innocent folks--always been a credit union gal, myself, when it comes to basic checking and savings. But if they've done you well, no point letting them go, I suppose! Prolly wouldn't suggest you try and get new products with them, though, especially considering their credit products are mediocre. Unsecured credit is really difficult to get when you're brand new. Unless you're getting federal student loans and willing to wait to get pre-approvals when you're 21 (as I did), they might deny you straight out simply because there's nothing there for them to look you up by. I would honestly suggest going for the Discover IT Secured, because not only, as stated, does it give you rewards and will give you a free FICO score from TransUnion every month (helping you keep track of your credit with the more accurate score), it will also now graduate to an unsecured card and return your deposit--for some folk, in as early as 7 months. Also, like crunch said earlier, develop that good habit of paying off every month as soon as possible! It will serve you well. :) Good luck.

I have a TONNE of credit inquiries on my account and that's all that's really holding me back. Do you have any suggestions for what I can do? Hello to all! I myself have used a secured card and from my experience I would recommend to get a card that will allow you to put the most collateral most only go up to $10,000. If you do this you will boost your credit fast and have a great utilization ratio amongst your secured card and others you get down the line. Then after a year you saved up $10,000 and have a great starting credit limit. Try not to pay for an annual fee if you can help it. Hope this helps and if you have any questions let me know.

Hi, I know you can put 10,000 in a Wells Fargo secured card. Also check out Discover secured card. I my self have the Wells Fargo because it is very simple to add money to the security deposit. I'm at 8,000 with 7 months. After a year or so of good credit behavior they will make your card on secured with the limit you had deposited. You get your deposit back one month after your car becomes unsecured.

AmbieShinee hey how much should I put down on this card to get my credit score up faster?
@AmbieShinee
@AmbieShinee 5 лет назад
@@demarcustankerboytv8987 I literally gave them 200 bucks to put on my card. But it DID NOT give me a 200 dollar credit use for the first couple months they only let me use up to 120 of it a month and when you pay the amount you've used on the card a month (ALWAYS pay how much you've have spent every month on time. Never pay just the minimum amount a month) after about 3/4 months of paying on time they raised how much money I could use on it to my full 200's I put on the card. The due date to pay is always the 28th of every month too. When you pay your amount that's due make sure you wait at least 7 days before you use it again. Because if you use it before they report it to your credit, it can make your credit go down a couple points, but the next month if you pay your amount and then wait until it reports it'll bring your score back up a couple points. It also reports every month to all 3 credit companies. Sorry for rambling lol I had no credit when I got the card... within I think it was 4 months of having it it had more score at a 680-something(the reason my credit is a 732, I've had my card for a year and a half but I also got a car a year ago so that built my credit up too.) I'm not sure about how much or how long it'll raise someone's credit score who already has credit. I hope this helps you. I do know if you want to close the account out once your done using they do give you all the money you gave them to put on the card. I don't think it matters what amount you give them I don't think that help bring your credit faster if you give more money, I think paying the full amount off every monthly payment and paying it on time will help build your credit up faster.

Very bad experience with application to Open Sky. Finally today I cancelled my application, meanwhile they held my money from the point of application. Have yet to see that money returned to my account, will be looking. "The bank" was not satisfied with my type of ID, driver's license was not enough with home address, pay stub not adequate either. @averagejoe3312
@averagejoe3312 7 лет назад
Yes you can. I have the Discover IT and Capital one. You can also get a very nice program called Reli Secured through Woodforrest National bank. Reli does require you have at a small checking account with the bank though. If you have got to choose just one for now, I'd go with Discover IT. That will give the most benefits of them all.
@BeatrizGarcia-uu4if

I did order the Discover IT one, is gonna arrive in a few days. But I was interested in getting another one. I just didn't know if I could have more than one. I'm interested in getting another one, which one would be better? Open Sky or Capital One?. Oh and that Woodforest where is it? Thanks, Joe :D ;)-Bea :)
@averagejoe3312
@averagejoe3312 7 лет назад
Capital One has no annual fee, and after 5 or more good payments on time, they will raise your limit to 500 to 700 dollars. You may also need only $49 or $99 to get it started. Woodforst National Bank is inside a bunch of Wal-Marts. Not all of them have one. You may not have one in your state. Just check for a nearest location through Googles search. Open Sky has a $35 a year maintenance fee. At least you may decide to keep the other 2 cards. Get a Credit Karma account also.

@stephaniel7013
@stephaniel7013 7 лет назад
+Maxwell Peart here's my honest review as a current Discover customer.I have the Discover It card, I was just in your position where I had no credit history,but they gave me an easy instant approval. I did the application online it took around 15 minutes. As long as you have a job for at least 6 months and can verify your identity you should be approved. If you don't have a job though your chances of getting approved for the card are very low to being denied. I asked around about other people's experiences (beside my own)and was told that Discover loves to accept new comers who have no credit history,but are generally more pickier with individuals who have already established some form of credit already. They offer cash back,which is cool but not really that much. However, they kind of make up for it by having 24 hours customer service,which I don't think any place really does that except for Discover. Also, they have helped me increased my credit score a lot,that I keep getting offers from other companies like Capital One. For Discover, they do show you your Fico Credit score like the video stated,but they won't exactly tell you what is impacting that score,like how usual credit reports let you know. They just give you the Credit score that they report to the Trans Union Credit Agency. Also, if you are a student you get $20 cash back for good grades every semester for the next 5 years,and that money you can either cash it out or use it towards paying your bill.Not trying to advertise or anything but I think it's cool. Keep in mind though, that not all places accept Discover, majority of places do accept Discover, but you might run into a few places that might not. I would highly discourage applying for American Express since the majority of places do not accept it because of their high interest rates that they charge companies. I wish you the best of luck on your credit card and hope you can buy yourself a house soon!:)
