What is The Best Service for Print on Demand Books?

I watched this while video and you didn't go over one of the most important things of all. The prices.

A comparison of the prices would have been a key part of this surely?

I'd love a more comprehensive comparison. It would require a video series, I think. - physical comparisons and various options for paperback and hardback. - ebook tools - human services: cover design, editing, etc. - distribution services: I want to sell on both Amazon and Kobo at the minimum, but also what about Walmart, Barnes and Noble, Waterstones, etc. - international services?

What about the actual cost?

BookBaby offers several paper stocks and color choices that are available with On Demand printing. We offer our standard 60lb Natural (off-white or 'cream' color) which looks like the book in this review, and we also offer a 60lb Opaque (white uncoated) and an 80lb Gloss (heavier white gloss coated) which works well for full-color printing and photo books. I'm a little confused. I just want to print a book. I am not looking to publish it per say, I just want to print the book that I created. Cant I just choose a good book printing company to do that with out the extra whistles? like marketing etc. I just want to print my book for myself and for family. Thank you. Can I use ingram spark and other things just to print copies, no strings attached? Thanks! I dont want a distributor, I just want to print my little book as needed and it seems very hard to find a quality company that can do that with out adding more services than I want to purchase. Thank you

No mention of Lulu? (they do not offer editing services, afaik, but:) iirc they're the original POD printer. It may be hard to getyour covre outlined just as ayou want it, though.

I wish someone with a more professional demeanor had presented this information, e.g., when you refer to "the first page" thickness as you handle the cover, I don't know if you are referring to the real first page or the cover. SLOW DOWN your speech; use some visuals to reinforce topics as you introduce them. Work on vocabulary; do you know the difference between "compare" and "contrast"? Don't refer to viewers as "you guys", etc, etc. Good idea to present this content, but delivery needs work. Good luck.

wow Reedsy. ty for the insight. I'm in Canada and having a very hard time finding a print on demand for my book. I'm not looking to sell my book but use it as a promo items to get speaking engagements. I need quality and you stressed how important that is but In Vancouver Canada I can't seem to find anyone reasonable or having good quality...unless I spend $3K for 200 books. any ideas from you would be appreciated. Ty in advance.
