(fighting sucks against flying and same with grass, but you can go crobat if you like that)

the move I love the most to evolve quickly pokemon that take friendship to evolve is Return. My Riolu litteraly evolve juste after using that move once at level 16. Same for other pokemon. Don't know if anyone used that too

I actually used this exact team except the only small difference was I taught Helioisk Dragon Tail instead of Surf and Crunch instead of Fire Blast for Garchomp (also I didn't use a Kanto starter, I used an Infernape I got from a trade. It had Flamethrower, Thunder Punch, Close Combat and Dig).

I actually had to re-watch this again: I'm replaying Y to fill up the pokedex and decided to go with this team to skip having to do my own team-building. The funny thing tho, and I was shook when this happened, is that my Golbat evolved into Crobat...before even *entering* Reflection Cave. I was like "huh, already?" And sure enough, I got the Soothe Bell after I finished up with that and got to Shalour City :'D Turns out I didn't need the Bell after all!

Problem here is a couple of extra rules I have for story teams. 1. I can never use a pokemon used in another team 2. I always try to use new pokemon (Kalos case I split it 3-3 cause of megas)

Used Greninja, Aegislash, Talonflame, Tyrantrum, Gardevoir and Goodra. Worked surprisingly well.

Great video. The only pokemom i used in my playthroughs from this list is Greninja but i probably will try this team

I went with Chestnaught, Charizard, Azurmarill, Heliolisk, Krookodile, and Arourus and breezed through everything. Itnis pretty easy considering X and Y were the easiest games until Sword and Shield, but I NEVER found myself missing a move type that I needed.

Also if you catch zubat in a luxury ball, you are already a step forwards in getting the happiness

I thought the mega stone for garchomp was post game. You get it after you upgrade your mega ring, and you can only do that after the post game rival battle.

currently playing through with a Delphox, Raichu, Blastoise, Sylveon, Lucario and Honedge. Beat the 5th gym with Lucario’s bone rush and Raichu on Emolga. 3rd and 4th gym was a breeze with Delphox’s dual fire/psychic typing.

i opted for fire fang cuz of garchomps stats. also sleep powder over leech seed cuz of catching wilds plus i abhor running stall sets like some of venusaurs sets on other best teams. it seems strategic but to me the strategy lies in stats and type advantages and team building with all that in mind. stall sets ignore most of that if they are broken enough.

Personally, I'd put Pyroar on my team because it is really good againsts most of the Ice gym, good with viola, ramos, Clement (cause he has electric/steel pokemon), if he can use bite/crunch (which he probably can) it would be good with the psychic gym, but if not, then use Houndoom, and then of course Wikstrom of the elite 4. I do my research (only because decided to replay pokemon y with only fire types, which got hard for grant, even though I haven't made it to clement, I do my research) If you're interested, my team is plus their current moves are: Delphox: Flame Charge (will be replaced with flamethrower), Mystical Fire, Psyshock, and Psybeam Houndoom: (Only exclusive to X, so catch an electrike on route 10 before battling grant, then put it on the GTS for a houndour with the level between 21 and 30, then level it up to 24, where it evolves into Houndoom, then battle Grant) Moves: Fire Fang, Bite, Smog (for the fairy gym), and feint attack Pyroar Male: fire fang, endeavor, strength, and headbutt Pyroar Female: fire fang, endeavor, headbutt, and some other move I cant remember Charmeleon: Fire Fang, Ember, Dragon Rage, and Cut Fletchinder: Fly, Roost, Ember, and Razor Wind Note: If you do a fire team for x or y, make sure to always remember to substitute out 1 pokemon for a water type that knows surf, so you can get to courmarine city, then put that fire pokemon back on your team.

You can also get a dusk stone by getting more than 2 30 time on the aegislash battle on secret super training mode so you can get a aegislash as early as you can

The core of Talonflame + Greninja is so broken throughout the entire game. Talonflame has advantage on 50% of the bosses in this game (Rival main Pokémon, 1st gym, 3rd, 4th, 8th, Wikstrom. Greninja cleans what talon can’t do. Otherwise having a ground type to deal electrics and a grass/electric to deal with water and you’re good to go

My main problem with this team is the majority of the moves are found late game if not at the very end. Still a stupidly good team though

Dis team worked absolutely AMAZING while I played Pokemon X (except for Gabite (named chomp) who was replaced for being underleveled even tho Aegislash (named forky) and Heliolisk (named thunder) were too but he was WAY underleveled) Looking back at this on my 2nd playthrough, Crobat had just destroyed Korrina and Ramos. Haha, surely an MVP.

I would go for Greninja, Venusaur, Aegislash, Sylveon, *HAWLUCHA* and Goodra!

I think Wobbuffet could have a legitimate use on this team. It’s consistently solid in battle defense wise, and when you’re going against a predictable team counter and mirror coat do fantastic damage. Destiny bond is also a great last resort move when you’re down to just Wobbuffet and the enemy only has one more Pokémon. It’s one of my favorites personally.

My first team was Greninja, TalonFlame, Lucario, Roserade, Xrenous (I can’t spell it correctly but pokemon X Special) and hawkucha! My Lucario replaced Jolteon (I think) and my Xrenous replaced Vivion, it was a pretty good team if you as me, and I kept my pokemon similar to that

Your brand of reasoning has convinced me to use the team you suggested (movesets may be different), especially with Venasuar and Crobat; I thought that Charizard and Talonflame were better choices before you gave your reasons.

So if/when I get to playing X/Y I actually planned to use a fairly similar team to this. However I switched Crobat for Talonflame & Garchomp for Goodra because I like to run teams of majority Pokémon introduced in that gen. I kept Venusaur on the mega evolution technicality.

This list is awesome. Though I'd probably swap out Crobat for Talonflame and Garchomp for Tyrantrum. Since I've used crobat and Garchomp a bunch of times before and haven't used talonflame or tyrantrum yet.
