It's really sad but 9 out of 10 doctors are poor sources of reliable testing and knowledge here in Georgia and even Dr.s in the heart of Atl. they aren't concerned if a patient and almost always never suggest testing and if i didn't study about any health subjects I'd probably be dead already... I have ZERO faith in these Dr s none of them have ever helped me. In fact all disease i ever found was the my own initiative to have them do blood tests and i'm literally speechless concerning their efforts. I have had alot of wrong medications prescribed to me. Some in the past i wld. take some i learned the hard way.. Education IS the Best form of Treating Yourself to me...thanks Dr. Osborne for this teaching series!!
Is there antibody test for wheat but not for gluten? I do not have the gene for celiac and I don’t think I’m affected by gluten specifically but for wheat. I can actually eat some wheat and just minimize my symptoms. But it turns out that I have extremely high hsCRP tests. I can’t help but wonder if that’s related. Multiple people in my family have issues the same as or similar to mine too.
Hi Dr. Osborne, can a person have non celiac gluten sensitivity if they tested (blood test) negative for Anti-Gliadin antibodies? Antigliadin abs IgA Deamidated Gliadin IgA Antigliadin Abs IgG Deamidated Gliadin Abs IgG t-Transglutaminase IgA t-Transglutaminase IgG Endomysial Antibody IgA tTG/DGP screen Antigliadin IgG (native) Were all negative. So my question is, can a person still have non celiac gluten sensitivity when negative for all the above tests? Can a person be gluten sensitive even if their tests for Antigliadin (deamidated and native) antibodies are negative? Thank you for your time :)
Yes. Genetic testing is the only accurate way to assess NCGS. You might consider taking this simple free quiz to help you determine if going gluten free is right for you... www.glutenfreesociety.org/gluten-sensitivity-intolerance-self-test/
Dr. Osborne, I’ve heard several people say (including people in the medical field) that if you don’t have Antigliadin antibodies then you are not sensitive to gluten. I’m so confused 😕 Aren’t you supposed to make antibodies to gluten if you’re sensitive to it? Ps. Thank you for your quick reply! 😊 I love your videos!
