In Pinocchio, each donkey is tested to see if they could still talk. Some are still able to and are separated from those that can't. The ones that can't, are sold. So yes, it's very plausible that Donkey is one of these "survivors.".....

I don't remember that happening in Pinocchio, but then again it's been a long time since I've seen it or read any of the books. I do remember that in the Disney version (and let's face it, Shrek basically sticks to the Disney versions of fairy tales too) Pinocchio stops drinking his (ale?) early when he sees its effect on his friend, and probably wasn't drinking too fast anyway because he technically was only a few days old and ale is an acquired taste, so the only thing about him to become a donkey was his ears. If a kid was drinking more than Pinocchio, but less than Pinocchio's friend, it's plausible that everything about him could have changed but his voice (one more pint of ale and the transformation would have been complete).

A dark theory I personally like: King of the Hill, Dale knows Joseph isn't his son, he knows his wife cheated on him with John Redcorn and that she had been doing so repeatedly, he said nothing because his wife is the breadwinner and he couldn't afford to lose her, plus his relationship with his wife did improve after a while. In addition he's aware everyone knows and it hurts him that even his closest friends don't say anything, so he chooses to play along, this might also have negatively impacted his paranoia and trust issues as it would all but confirm he couldn't even trust his best friends or those close to him, which might also explain why he spends most of his time in his basement.

Honestly, I think it's funnier if he doesn't know. He's a man that questions everything, but the world around him. He can see all the secrets except the ones going on in his backyard. That's why it's funny that he just doesn't see it going on. that being said I do think it would be funny if he does know, but chooses not to call anyone out because 1.) it's revenge on John redcorn cause redcorn can never have a real relationship with his son and he's being raised by an "idiot" in redcorn's words. Though he's figured it out and just played the idiot as a way to get back at nancy and redcorn for playing him as a rube. 2.) it allows Dale a lot of anonymity where he can work as much as he wants to and he can spend his wife's money on whatever he wants like guns and alien pee and on trips to conspiracy theorist places.. 3) he also cares about his son and doesn't want him to live in a broken home and deep down he's not so vindictive that he'd cut redcorn and Nancy out of his son's life completely.
@jonnyb.animationstutorials7119
@jonnyb.animationstutorials7119 3 месяца назад
Yeah, and that's actually a very plausible theory. I wouldn't be surprised if that was Mike Judge's intention. Dale's wife (Forgot her name) is the one making money, so if he left her, he'd be screwed. He's also probably worried that if he left, he may lose his relationship with Joseph, who despite not being his biological son, is still his son. I imagine the fact that none of his friends said anything is when he realized that he could pretend he doesn't know and go on with his life acting like nothing's wrong. Divorce is also a long process, that can cost a lot of money, and it would surely destroy his family, so he just pretends like nothing's wrong. If I remember correctly, there was an episode where it almost came out, and he "realized" that Joseph was actually the result of Aliens impregnating his wife, but this was really just something he desperately made up to keep the lie going. So, yeah, this is a very good theory, and very possible.

I think the Pokémon one is more like this: The regions are at war, that's why there are only children, women, and old people. Pokémon were created to fight in the war, hence everyone's obsession with becoming a Pokémon master, so they can be a skilled warrior in the war. The badges you have to earn to move on to the next region could be seen as "proof" that someone can survive the next region.

Problem with "Bill is Bobby's father" theory is that Bobby doesn't have resemblance to to the rest of the Dauterive family...but Bobby is an absolute DEAD RINGER for Cotton. He looks exactly like Hank's father, and even has moments where he's like him, like having a brief relationship with a japanese girl while overseas. There are also moments where it's very clear Bobby is like Hank, like with his love for meat and skill at meat examination.

As to the Lily Potter theory-that is actually explained in the books. She was not angry that he called her Mudblood. It's that he sniped at her while she was trying to get Potter to back off of him. She had been literally his only friend, the only one standing up for him, and that was like a gigantic slap in the face. Any reciprocation she might have had was done away by his own words and actions. In fact, James snapped at the word Mudblood, and the reality is not even that Snape called LILY a mudblood-that merely made it worse. It was that he uttered the phrase to a person that was trying to stand up for him. James, in lily's words, was an arrogant toe-rag-but this is in response to the consistent bullying she witnessed James giving. Snape doing that forfeited all the good opinion she had of him. He was being toxic and only cared that he got her for himself, not how she actually felt. James had liked lily from the moment he set eyes on her. His treatment of Snape was only ever that of a jealous boy. But what you also have to realize is that there are likely instances where Lily was NOT involved, and what they consistently ragged on snape for were his rather steep inclinations towards morbidity and the dark arts. That and of course is the whole Gyffindor vs. Slytherin thing. Think also about this: James had set to using Snapes own Levicorpus spell against him-the question that should be asked is how he found out about it. He knows it because Snape first used it on him. It was actually created TO USE on James and his group. Sectumsempra was the same. He was going to use that on James. Was James on the moral high ground? Bullyingwise, no. But as all we ever saw were the memories of him and james that involved Lily, we dont have that certain light to paint it in. We only know the things Lily saw. And actually, go back to the memory of first meeting James-Snape was the one who first reacted jealously and sniped at James. Any possibility that they could've ever been on friendly terms vanished just with that, so the enmity just kinda grew from there. And AFTER that, you also see the scene where she breaks off their friendship-its not just that he basically backstabbed her, it's also the people he hung out with. It's a good chance that she took a moment to think about everything after all was said and done, and possibly set to looking at all of the interactions james&co had with snape. She probably ALSO knows who invented levicorpus, because shes well aware that James Potter is not the inventive type, and that Lupin, who WAS the brains of the outfit, didnt possess the malicious spirit to create such a spell. Or the motivation lol. Basically, James probably ended up looking a little less like a bully. Plus, Snape was literally the only thing that Lily had against james. Take that outta the pic, whaddya got?

Lots of errors or massive leaps in logic for stuff I know. Not necessarily deal breakers but when you get some of the simple facts wrong... *Examples:* *Aladdin:* Jafar's genie bracelets aren't Genie's (Robin Williams's character) bracelets! Jafar's appear on him while Genie is still wearing his. Genie's don't disappear until he's freed by Aladdin's third wish _after._ As for the one about Lily Potter being charmed (as in a magic spell) into loving James because why else would she not forgive Snape, the slur was the last straw. Snape had been becoming worse and worse at Hogwarts. Likewise, James finally _grew up_ after having been a jackass for all of his school life. If you're not long out of school yourself (anyone reading this), trust me it happens. That and realizing nearly everyone was both bullied and a bully at different times.

All the babies in rugrats are a figment of Angelica's imagination. Chucky died with his mom in childbirth. Tommy was stillborn, leading to Stu's toy making obsession. The twins were a miscarriage and Angelica didn't know what the twins were, so she chose one of each, what they were and whether or not they were twins was irrelevant. I like to think that the icing on the cake is that they may all be ghosts that haunt their respective parents, and it's a case of small children being more susceptible to the paranormal.

Also, while Harry was using the floo network to talk to them, you get from Sirius and Remus that after that last hoorah of Lily and Snapes friendship, things eventually cooled down. James proved to be much less of an a$$, as it was usually only snape he was being that way to. Also, the Dursleys cant stand the potters because of the "abnormality", although in Petunias case it was Jealousy and envy of her sister getting so much praise from their parents just for being a witch. Which is also a Jaded view-it was the fact that she was doing well in school. They didnt ignore Petunia, and treated her with as much love as Lily, but envy makes you see things in a different way, interpreting and projecting them all the be a direct rally against yourself. She actually secretly hated herself for all that. She had loved Lily as much as her parents did, yet envied her even so....and where did all that envy get her? She lost a sister that she, at one time, very much treasured. It even detailed that before snape, they were inseparable. Also note that when Petunia mentions that "Horrible boy" that she found out what a dementor was from...well that was Snape. She didnt know James well. She didnt even know he was an Auror. She actually married a man that, psychologically, reflected all the resentment she had towards the fantastical in the form of very heavy skepticism and disapproval of anything not acting "normal". I'd wager that the nightmares and negative feelings she got from Harry's presence as a horcrux where the feelings of a woman who let her sister fade so far away from her merely because she was jealous, and now she can never get her back. People will seem to get mad at you when you speak the truth-but what they're mad at is that you're showing them a truth they dont want to see. So they resent you for it

Some of my favorites not mentioned in the video: -In Jaws, the mayor and the other island officials have been covering up the shark's attacks for a while, possibly years to protect the economy of the Amity Island. It's quite the coincidence that the attacks starts not long after a new police chief arrived. It's also surprising how quickly they wre able to buy/pressure the coroner. There's also how they try to paint what happened to the first victim as a boating incident, if you think about it what they describe is quite a particular set of circumstances, yet is the same breath they say it "already happened", something that particular having already happened before in a timeframe short enough to make that kind of comment is suspicious. -In Disney's Snow White, pince charming is actually death. One of the text panels mentions that the darfs "kept eternal vigil at her dies"; why eternal if the prince woke her up and took her ? Unless he's death itself. That'd also explain why she leaves the dwarfs as soon as she wakes up: it's death itself who came for her. There's also the fact the castle prince charming seems to be taking her to has total "heavenly" vibes. I do know he's supposed to be a metaphor of sexuality but sexuality and death are two very linked concepts philosophicaly and psychologicaly -In Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the Beast was a child when he was cursed. He's around 21 at the time of the movie, and at one point Lumière mentions it's been 10 years since they've been transformed, so logically the Beast was 10-11 when he got cursed.

He claims once to have “slept with Peggy,” but is instantly caught in his lie. The only other person I could see fathering Bobby would be Cotton, and… yeah, that’s not likely. Bobby is 100% a Hill, not a Daughterive. Also, the implication that Hank would kill himself if Bobby wasn’t his blatantly undermines Hank’s character. He’d be upset, and probably believe that as the explanation for why “that boy ain’t right,” but he’s literally neighbours with a friend raising a kid that he didn’t make (who’d actually be more likely to go to an extreme upon finding out). I’m sorry, but I don’t think the same guy who insisted that raising Joseph Gribble made Dale more of a father to him than John Redcorn would ever take his own life over such a revelation.

My dark theory is that Dennis Reynolds in always sunny in Philadelphia is such a creepy abusive scumbag, because he was sexually assaulted in the first episode. He was black out drunk and taken advantage of, set up by his sister and best friend. In his moment of powerlessness, he developed control issues and sociopathic tendencies as hostile coping mechanisms. Also I feel like even tho he didn't know, he suspected Dee and Mac may have had something to do with it, especially with Mac kinda mocking him when he wants Paddy's to go back to a shitty celt themed bar. which is why he's perfectly fine constantly tearing them down. As for Charlie, he either thinks Charlie didn't have a hand in the assault since Charlie was very happy with how the bar was going, and that even if Dennis thought Charlie did participate, Charlie's life is already about as bad as Dennis could imagine.

Yeah, and it doesn't make sense. They were all in similar radius to the portal's blast, if the kids and Soos died, why wouldn't Stan die too? It really doesn't make sense, plus it was debunked entirely when the real life Journal 3 came out, because it details Ford's adventures in the Multiverse after he returned to his universe, and if everyone died except Stan, then how would Ford have done so? A lot of these really reach in logic.

My favorite fan theory in a LONG time is that the parents in Bluey have a criminal enterprise of selling archeological artifacts on the Black Market. It explains their relatively high level of living without seeming to work very much. Bandit is an archaeologist and could get artifacts off site and ready to ship. Chili works in airport security and would be in a position to let the artifacts and packages go through without inspection. It works, and could very easily be true in that world. No coma or dream state required.

In the first Shrek movie, his owner is attempting to sell him so maybe they are sold as novelties? Also, @subzero8778 pointed out he could have been the donkey from the Town Musicians of Bremen Fairy tale! Not really about an in-universe event but I have heard (not stating as fact, just a possibility): There was a lot of sexual abuse on set of Malcolm in the Middle and it messed with Erik Per Sullivan who played Dewey so much he’s more or less a recluse. Frankie Muniz overstates the effect micro strokes had on him to be able to avoid discussing his time on the show; he actually does remember most of it but doesn’t want to talk about it.

There is actually another version of the "Hogwarts only exists in Harry's mind" theory, that is much more interesting: Hogwarts is real, but it is a mental institution, as Harry fell mentally ill due to the Dursley's abuse. The magic abilities, Harry and the other kids learn there is a metaphor for their way to healing and the discovery of their personal strengths. Harry defeating Lord Voldemort aswell is metaphorical for Harry defeating his own trauma / inner demons and moving on in life. All the scenes of child endangerment in hogwarts are actually a fantasy representation of therapy sessions that prepare the children to face their fears or past. This way the theory would even explain elements like the inconsistent system of House Points (as failure and successes are perceived with different gravitude by each patient) or the extremely superficial Sorting into Hourses (kids with similar issues are packed into one group to support each other).

14:57 I think that the theory is wrong about which part of the Doctor and Amy's interference. Later on in the season when they discover the Pandorica, Vincent painted an image of the TARDIS exploding and we see his mental state is worse than ever, so much so that a local had to call a doctor to see if anything could be done. I think that this is what drove him to end his life, seeing that his friend/the only doctor to make a difference in his life and the woman he wanted to stay with him dying in massive explosion somewhere in the middle of space not know that it was only the TARDIS that was being destroyed. That somehow makes it more tragic, him dying thinking that he would be reunited with them in the afterlife but in the end they just make another Big Bang and are perfectly fine. So him dying was for nothing.

My dark fan theory is that Anakin Skywalker was never the chosen one. I’m ROTS Palpatine tells Anakin about the TRAGEDY OF DARTH PLAGUIS THE WISE. He specified that Plaguis knew how to manipulate midichlorians to make life. Why tell us this unless to hint at Anakin’s origins. Now the Plaguis book states he was surprised by Anis existence so it wasn’t HIM that made Ani…this leaves Palpatine. My theory is Ani was a Trojan horse used against the Jedi to bring them down…which is EXACTLY what happened.

I had a theory about the graphic novel series known as BONE by Jeff Smith. In the series, we have a main character named Fone Bone. Fone belongs to a race called Bone Creatures, due to their pure white skin and the bulbus heads and noses. Fone is a fan or literature, he reads books of Moby Dick. His favorite book. Thing is, from what is show, the series takes place in a medieval setting while Moby Dick was written in 1851. Fone also mentions stuff such as King Kong, balloons, etc. There are also these monsters called Rat Creatures. Theyre dumb and savage. And my theory here is that the Bone series takes place so far into the future that something happened that made normal humans to revert back to a medieval time. I want to say there was some nuclear mutating fallout, the Bone Creatures were humans, the rat creatures were just rats, oh and some animals and bugs can talk. The dragons, not sure of their origins, probable lizard origins. I could be wrong but hey. It's kinda neat?

Donkey is in the original story the movie is based on and doesn’t at all work the same way the talking donkey in the Bible does. In the Bible the guy(forget his name at the moment) is riding the donkey the donkey sees the lord blocking the path so swerves to go around. The guy beats the donkey. They continue on and the donkey sees the lord again and swerves. He beats the donkey the third time he avoids the lord the guy goes to beat the donkey the lord opens the donkeys mouth and the donkey is basically like “dude wtf I’ve always been faithful and done what you ask maybe there’s a reason I’m not this time?!” And then the lord appears to the guy. In the original story “SHREK!” the talking donkey is just a talking donkey It’s not that your theory is offensive as much as it falls into the “coma/dream” category of not thought put

No, Genies and sorcerers aren’t using technology for their magic… 😑 Genie’s shackles do not switch themselves onto Jafar, Jafar is imprisoned to HIS OWN LAMP before the Genie is wished free and the shackles come off. Did this person even watch the movie!?! If you want to believe it’s a dystopian future setting, feel free, it never actually gives us an established era in the canon, so any time frame is plausible. But regardless, magic fully exists in that world, and to dismiss as hyper advanced technology only proves that you weren’t paying attention or have no concept of mythology or fantastical beings. Also, here’s a better explanation for Genie’s anachronistic references: he’s a cosmic entity who can literally see through/manipulate time and space!
