Appreciate you taking the time listing pros and cons. Retired trucker turned full time RVer . Plenty of pin box miles and no gooseneck miles. From your vid, for a 5th wheel rv I see no advantage to converting over from a pin box. Again thank you for taking your time and making this video. I shall await the uploading of your "tactor vs Pick-up towing". Good stuff.. big trucks bring it. 👍

I came in here looking for, which is better for Hotshot gooseneck or fifth wheel ? One thing I dislike about a 40-foot CDL gooseneck is the constant jerking back n forth when going uphill loaded

If I buy a F250 should I tow with a gooseneck or a 5th wheel to handle more weight? If I buy a F350 should I tow with a gooseneck or a 5th wheel to handle more weight?

It depends strickly on rating of 5th wheel/gooseneck expcept for the F350 dually. In that case I believe the Ford 3” gooseneck ball is rated higher than any 5th wheel head but this only comes into play if you have a dually because the GVCWR of the 250 and SRW 350 is below the rating of the actual availible hitches and ball if that makes sense.

@@trucksandrecreation For towing a park model what truck model do you recommend?

@@briizcustoms9543 I believe they all should be able weight wise to tow but check the weight of the trailer vs towing capacity of truck. I believe park models are all bumper pull. The ultimate in my opinion for big trailers like this however is the F450 due to its great turning radius
