What is the difference between a cheap and expensive subwoofer cable, sound test demo using DTS X 

This video is a sound test performed among two subwoofers cables. One of them being the audioquest boxer subwoofer cable at three meters length selling for nearly $180. The other cable I'm testing here is a cheap and inexpensive Acoustic Research subwoofer cable. What is the difference between a cheap and expensive subwoofer cable and why would you buy an expensive cable. There are several reasons that one requires a good subwoofer cable one of them being interference and the other being sound quality. The two cables in this video are clearly different in several ways. This video begins my test among subwoofer cables and other audio and video cables. I am using a Blu-ray with DTS X to perform this sound test at the exact same scene with the exact same volume and all of the same equipment. The subwoofer is an SVS pb-1000 ported 10-inch subwoofer And I'm using the Marantz sr7010 9 Channel AV receiver in dts x sound mode. join me next for a sound test with bass test tones.
