Normally due to neurological disorders like undiagnosed adult ADHD etc ? And or childhood trauma..Nothing to do with any man made religion..But yes your right alchchol dependancy very different from problem drinking..
New wine in Hebrew is unfermented grape juice. It was grape juice which was really hard to come by back then. Also the alcohol was weaker and not like today. Proverbs talks about not looking at red wine in a cup because its deceptive. The heart that’s healthy from fruits of grapes makes the heart glad. Why are people searching for a feeling when the Holy Spirit gives us true balance and joy. Its addictive- so best to be more healthy IMO.
