You're welcome! I'm having a new guide coming out tomorrow that will compound on this one. Check it out when you can! 🙂

What's a practical application of your explanation of the Combat boost at 0:53? Is it just about colliding with another racer? I don't think I've ever seen someone get stunned or gotten stunned myself from collision alone, but maybe you're talking about the equivalent to the weight stat in Mario Kart, which makes lighter racers bounce off of heavier ones? Minnie's combat stat is middling, and she rammed you hard at 6:34; to me this looks kind of like how it might go if you get hit by any racer, but I'm really not sure. I've read online that the combat stat affects the duration of stuns that you inflict on opponents, but I can't verify whether that's true or not, and I don't know where to find a definitive answer. I'm not commenting this to criticize you or anything; your videos are very helpful! I'm just trying to find a way to be absolutely certain about how the mechanics work.

The explination wasn't mine, it was given by the devs when someone did a Q and A with them. I honestly still don't understand it and I wish it had gotten reworked. However, basically, the number determines how long you're stunned for and how long you stun others. It doesn't equate to nireos given, brawlers just get more nitros for performing damaging actions. (no other class gets nitros from ramming, only items) Let's say I have 1k, maybe a 500 can ram me, but I wont be stunned for long. However, if they have 300, I wont be effected whatsoever and I'll keep driving. This is why if tricksters/speedsters try to ram others, they most likely wont knock them out. (unless they are higher level than the one they are ramming) I guess you can say it's KIND of like mario in a way of bouncing off someone if you're too small. However, this game it really just matters on stun time given or receiving and the threshold of being able to ram someone. Side note: Those bots were on very hard, so we both know they had hacks.

@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 What exactly do you mean by "ram?" I thought that brawlers were unique in that their dash (the right stick thing) specifically stunned opponents, whereas defenders gained a shield, tricksters reversed controls, and speedsters got a little speed boost. Are you talking about ramming someone in that sense or just bumping into them hard when you drive normally into them? Basically, I'd thought that "stunning" was specifically making a player bounce around in a circle by hitting them with an offensive skill or dashing into them as a brawler.

Nope, they actually don't explain this, a lot of things I make guides on weren't explained to be 100% real with you. Maybe I'll make a quick video about it and publish it explaining more about it. On a controller, if you use the right stick, you'll snap your kart into a direction. I'm REALLY not sure what it is on the keyboard and mouse, but you can go to the controls and maybe it's labeled.

@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 Okay, yeah, the right stick thing is the dash I was talking about. It only results in a stun from brawlers (the full stop and spin out), but I hadn't considered the idea that getting hit by classes other than the brawler would slow you down more based on the disparity of combat stats.

@@iliya1933 I usually rule of thumb if I'm a defender or brawler I'll slam someone. If not, I test by trying, sometimes it works and you can actually do it cause you're a higher level racer. Goes like this really, Brawler on top, then defender, speedster, trickster. Unless you're a higher level than normal.
