I like how the first doctor denied he was a doctor of medicine but the second doctor claims he is, implying that the second doctor was the one who decided enough was enough and actually went to study medicine

I think it was more out of convenience than anything because he refuses to use his real name Susan referred to him as a doctor a few times and it stuck But he does have A bunch of degrees probably because he does get bored

Do you miss the bit in Shada when The Doc visits the college and Wilkin mentioned other visits and when, as it also made reference to the Doc getting a degree albeit a honorary one.
I don't think he's being serious a lot of the time. I think he's got a lot of different Doctorates, but can wing everything with the confidence of someone trained properly
