I think they are perfectly balanced. Renault is the best car at top speed (like we saw in the 1st sector at Monza/Spa). Then the Mercedes engines (Mercedes/Racing Point). Alpha Tauri is a low drag car compared to the Red Bull so their top speed is right. And finally Mclaren and the Ferrari engines. They nailed it

According to Codemasters, the Renault has the lowest drag coefficient which is why it is able to hit a higher top speed despite it having less power than the Mercedes engine. Also, I don't think Codemasters realizes that Ferrari changed their side mirror supports at the 70th Anniversary GP; they are now positioned further away from the body, like on the Alpha Tauri.

Yeah that was about right. Renault and alpha tauri are both low drag cars, red bull despite having the same engine as the alpha (probably a better one) have a very grippy car with high drag. It's the same irl, it's just the red bull demolishes them both in the corners.

The top speed is not much dependent on the engine, because teams follow different aero philosophies. So, a weaker engine with low downforce can achieve higher top speeds. But still, codemasters have done a cool job in updating the car performances.

Top speed is a combination of drag and engine, so I think engine-wise Mercedes is stronger but the less drag that Renault has made it faster.

The Williams overall were not weakest. Haas are the weakest car in team base on what I see. 1. Mercedes 2. Red Bull 3. Racing Point 4. Mclaren 5. Renault 6. Alpha Tauri 7. Ferrari 8. Alfa Romeo 9. Williams 10. Haas

Fortunately, Renault is. I definitely heard Crofty and Brundle saying that Renault got the top speed in Italian GP. But still, it's only straight line, bro. Mercedes definitely powerful in corners.
