Yes, pastors sing with their congregation, "Just as I am" then preach, "Just as you should be". Thank God Almighty that we don't come as we should be because we would all be doomed. There is only one gospel. The devil has his minions who are at work daily trying to confuse both saved and lost. I praise God for leading me to such teachers as Yankee who teach the truth and cut out all confusion. I only wish all who are stuck in the confusion false teachers have brought them would find such good teachers as I have. The Holy Spirit and the clear scripture used confirms the truth in this message.

Phillip baptized the Ethiopian eunuch, Very simple. The eunuch had to confess his belief in JESUS before he could be baptized. He wasn't asked to turn from sin or make Jesus the Lord of his life. No requirements other than believe. It was the pure simple saving gospel. Thank you pastor Yankee.

No matter how much you love Jesus, or how saved you are. You ARE GOING TO SIN UNTIL YOU DIE. I'm a saved Christian, and sin every 20 seconds. A bad thought, lust, anger, swearing, and on and on... I don't go out of my way to deliberately sin; it is inherent in my (ours/ yours) flesh. I'm not proud of it, nor is the Holy Spirit. But, it is impossible for a human being not to sin! Anyone who says he doesn't sin, is a liar or delusional. David, Moses, Noah, and every saved patriarch, were sinners. Paul called himself the chief of sinners. If the great apostle Paul was a sinner, we too are sinners. For those who delude themselves: only one was without sin. Jesus Christ.

Salvation is NOT based on what a person DOES, it's based entirely on what a person BELIEVES by FAITH, meaning by revelation from the Holy Spirit who reveals the identify of Jesus as God & Savior. Keep in mind that the Holy Spirit came into the world on Pentecost which was the beginning of The Church Age. You can also say it is the Father who reveals the identify of Jesus which was the case with Peter at his conversion. Here's the moment of Peter's salvation recorded in scriptures. This occurred when when Jesus asked Peter "who do YOU say I am?" Peter answered: "You are The Christ The Son of The Living God." Jesus replied: "blessed are you Simon Barjona, flesh and blood has not REVEALED this to you but my Father who is in Heaven." (Matthew 16:16-18). Essentially what Calvinists do because of them being supernaturally blinded by the Devil is use God's Word in an attempt to disprove God's Word which is EXACTLY what the Devil does. Another way of saying this is they attempt to PROVE God contradicts Himself. The best example of this is they look at Ephesians 2:8-9 that very clearly says..."Salvation is a GIFT of God NOT of Self and NOT of Works so that NO ONE can boast." To this they say "NOT SO, I'll show you scriptures that say differently." Then they run over to other scriptures attempting to disprove Ephesians 2:8-9. The fundamental problem Calvinists have is catastrophic failure of sound biblical exegesis that the scriptures describes as "always learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth (2 Timothy 3:7). Calvinist's PRIDE is what causes them to be blinded to the Truth of the Gospel and here's how that happens > > "God resists the PROUD but gives Grace to the HUMBLE for it is by God's Grace through Faith that you are saved."(James 4:6; Ephesians 2:8-9). Now do you see it!

The funny thing about Calvinists who go around inspecting fruit. they might want to examine their own lives first. I haven't met any Calvinists who gave away all their money and headed to the mission fields.

Trusting God is a work lets use the word God gives which to believe the death, burial, resurection, and dont forget the witnessing of Jesus its part of the gospel. Paul preached the witnessing so should we. If you dont preach the full gospel than your preaching another gospel.

Dead people can quit every sin in the book, but they're still dead. The lost man is "dead in trespasses and sins"( Ephesians 2:1). Whether or not they are "willing to turn from their sins" makes no difference to God. They need life first so they CAN turn from sins, but even then no person who has ever lived became perfect after salvation. Salvation is a totally free and unmerited gift of God by grace. You don't get it by trying to make yourself better first. That is "reformation" NOT repentance! This is just a backhanded way of telling a person they must keep the law, ie. quit their sinning, in order to get saved. Satan sure is a tricky devil, isn't he? It sounds so good for a person to turn from all their sins, but it is the exact opposite of what repentance really is.
