What is the Mahindra XUV300 AutoShift all about? How do you use this AMT automatic?

Does the term 'Autoshift' in the new 2021 Mahindra XUV300 Petrol confuse you? Here is my detailed explanation of how to use this kind of gearbox in everyday life. Yes, it is much like the AMT found on the Nexon too - however, the way you use it is different. Watch till the end for some fantastic drone shots ;)

Hello Bunny sir, What's the max rpm when you shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear ? I have driven a BS4 diesel amt where in the rpm was reaching 3000 rpm and then shifting the gears from 1st to 2nd. That actually creates a lot of engine rev sound in traffic.. am not sure whether it's the problem with particular the test drive vehicle or same with all XUV 300. Please clarify on this, this has become a deal breaking factor for me. Please help 🙏

This is exactly the video I was waiting for. No one has explained this in such detail so far. Thanks a lot. There is just one video which I can’t find anywhere which is how much Luggage can the boot space accommodate, specially when going out with family for 3/4 days of travel for example. Would be great if you could deep-dive into that aspect

It was very useful and informative video on Autoshit in XUV300. It gave me more confidence in driving auto cars in the future. My question here is when we are in high speed can we shift to A/M without pressing the brake? Because I heard that without applying brake one cannot change to A/M.

are the upshifts are allowed at particular speed point , i mean in xuv 700 if u want to shift to say 3rd gear at a speed of 30 kmph , it will not allow , only when u reach a particular speed it allows upshifts. Is it the same in 300 autoshift or we can upshift at lower speeds as well?

QUESTION : XUV300 W6 se hi sunroof milaa karega..? Kya sirf AMT me hi milega sunroof ya manual me bhi milega? W6 on words bola he to ,W6, W8 and W8(o) manual me bhi sunroof milega ? Bhai mene book ki he W8 petrol ( manual) January 29 ko. Delivery ka bola tha Feb 15 ko. To kya ab wo sunroof vali aayegi ya nahi???

It's included for both manual and AMT. But on road price has been increased. Mostly by 30-50k depends on which city u live.

If mahindra improves the interior od this car just a little bit there will.be no stopping it! Their design engineers should take some lessons from tata's designers!
