dont forget the special direct loan limits for medical students, i think its 240k? this limit has also been expanded to pharmacy, dental, and other health students. then there are direct plus which isnt limited and is capped at like the total cost of attendance or something like that

Can you take the loan even if you don't need it to cover tuition cost? I had pell grant that covers my tuition. but could really use the loan for other things like a new computer

If I owe more than 138,500 including principal and interest, does that affect how much I can take out in my Grad Plus Loan? Thanks for making this video! It was short to the point and informative! 🙏

Thank you! The specific state should not have much an impact on federal student loan limits. Only the cost of the school will have an impact, in addition to the specific student

@@LendEDU my annual trimester would be $6,500 but I have to pay rent, gas etc. I’m master in finance. Can I get 20k in loans?

While you may not be able to get $20k in federal student loans depending on if you're in undergrad or graduate school, you may be able to get $20k in private student loans depending on your financial qualifications

Does the 138,500 cap on federal grad student loans include any grad plus loans? Example: if I don’t have enough to cover law school with my federal student loans would I not be able to use grad plus loans?
