It's not from him , what you talk about we call "pada". You take a strong suppressing emotion, and u use it to suppress other lesser strong emotions. You can also use hunger for this.
Slight misunderstanding Tomas. Please don’t try to make panic the focus of your meditation 🙏 by “making panic your friend” he’s actually reframing it. That softened the experience of the emotion.
The mind is the thinking.... wow what a statement of Truth. For long I have been looking for an answeer as to how to stop the process of thinking untill I realized it is the Mind that is doing it. My questions became answered when I understood that the Mind by its very nature exists to think 😊
The title is "what is the mind?" But I couldn't find the answer from his lecture. Mind is inside the brain or the brain is inside the mind? While he is talking about mind, he is pointing to his brain. Does he mean that the brain produces the mind? Where does our intention come from ? All these are my questions. Please make a video on these subject.

This guy is delightful. What sort of "mind" does the newborn child possess? Does the state of "no mind" equate to no understanding? Most meditations are advertised to take you deeper, like a miner. What about taking you, not to emptiness, but to everything at once?

It is because your mind tells you he didn't - which is what he just explain about what the mind is, it is the seat of our thinking. But you know the world we are in today, everybody is trying to define the same thing with different languages and expressions.
@@KHABIB-TIME to know I have mind, I have to know the definition of mind. Like what is mind? I think the mind is nothing but the function of the brain. If this is the mind then yes I do have a mind.

wait wait Buddy. this is thinking, what You said on mind , but not a mind. thinking is one of mind functions, beside feeling, senses, an intellect, memory... mind is empty, according to nature, and don't creates any problems. if You found Your an eternal face (consciousness) as empty.
