@Lup Very True, if Yugi didn't have that Plot Armor (Relay Soul)); he would lost 2 Dartz and that would had affected the main story as well so U no konami had 2...
Dylan: Kaiba and Edo was the only duelist who has bean hit by exodia. Joey: Dylan actually forgot me and saved me from hummiliation, i relly am the luckyest being in excistence.
I was thinking the same thing. Technically even though he was HIT with infinity damage he only actually took 250 of it before he “lost” so by that measure Yuma wins again having successfully dealt the most damage
The biggest damage was in the o.g. series when Joey stole both enemy controller and blue eyes white dragon from kaiba, the Emotional damage made kaiba go berserk and kill his own blue eyes 🤣
To be fair... My BL loving friend (a girl obviously) who never watched nor played Yu-Gi-Oh! (nor knows anyhting about it) thought "Blue eyes white dragon" is a BL dojin... Even to this day, I laughed at the thought of it happening... and terrified considering the name can actually be a BL title if it was allowed by the creators.
Sure Shun could attack all 6 monsters and the scene was made to look more cool, but the bird had more than enough attack to defeat each duelist by attacking one of their monsters. So from gameplay perspective he only attacked 3 monsters.
@Shooting Star U can thank @Legendary Duels guy 4 that! I agree that thunbnail looks really great; I mite use that in at least 1 of my vids (I'll need permission 4 that) but till take a screenshot of it through VLC, etc
“Now my two knights are reflecting their attack back and fourth until its strength increases to infinity “ I loved Yami Yugi’s delivery of that line 😃😃😃
Ironically, mathematically speaking, that doesn't actually work. Yugi can increase the attack's strength an arbitrarily large number of times, but the end result is still a finite number. An arbitrarily large one, but still finite, and thus less than infinity.
Zane and Jaden: *take 57800 points of damage and laugh it off* A random duelist: *takes 2000 points of damage and gets thrown across the room* Me: Classic Yugioh Logic
@@rainbowdragon168 just like with Aoi in her Duel with Baira Aoi attacls with decent damage: Nothing special happens Baira attacks with very small damage: Aoi gets thrown true multiple walls
2:29 , "You really think that monster is intimidating? It has 8 Attack Points." "Awight, jost...jost hang un a zekkand..." *twisting noise* "Dere we go." "Okay, now that might be a bit of a challenge."
Imagine being so prominent and having played really important roles in Duel terminal just to get destroyed by a bird. They did gem knights, constellars, and sabers dirty
In Japanese, "Divine Serpent Geh" is in fact correctly pronounced closer to "eh/ey" rather than "ee/i". The "Geh" written as ゲー, which you can slap into Google Translate and click the listen button if you want to hear how it's pronounced.
Technically if we're going off of most amount of LP lost in a single attack the Don Thousand defeat does beat out Yami losing to the snek because Yami only lost his remaining 250 LP compared to the over 100k LP that Don Thousand actually lost.
I like duel of Yuri vs 5 You Show duelists and in that duel Yuri managed to get his Starving Venom Fusion Dragon up to 13000 attack points by absorbing their monsters attack points and allow it to attack all 5 duelists one at a time.
Next time Dylan do a top Most dangerous or violent Duels in Yu-Gi-Oh. It can be anything : death in the End, Accident like Yusei vs Kiryu first time, Valon vs Joey anything with consequences. Like in the End Shun vs LDS trio how they finish with Fatality ? It can be fun.
@@ProxymanDerk Technically speaking, almost any duel in ARC V would be on that list. Lose to Shay? Carded. Lose to Duel Academy? Carded. Lose in the Friendship Cup? You're a slave for the rest of your life. Everybody loses to Zarc? All 4 dimensions get blown up. Can't make a baby smile? End of the world. ARC V is a mess, and I love it.
This video peaked my interest in the Zexal anime. I had no clue the duels were that insane. Started watching 5D's because of this channel and will continue watching the other spinoffs. Great work, Dylan! Your videos are thought provoking and I appreciate the effort you put into your videos to make seemingly mundane topics fun and interesting.
Zexal becomes better and better. Their last arc is arguably the best arc in every YGO, better than the Dark Signers one. The plot is amazing, the duels very important and well scripted and all the useful characters get development/closures. I don't like Yuma, but Shark/Kaito are how rivals should be.
When you think about it, some characters in Yu-Gi-Oh are knocked into the ground after 500 points of damage, and then there's some others that laugh after taking 57800 point of damage. So...how does this system work?
Pain thresholds probably. Amateurs aren't used to feeling pain from a card game but since Kaiba and others have been through so much they can handle it much better.
Do we know exactly how many duelists there were? If not, it is impossible to say for sure how much damage he did (not to mention it was effect damage and not battle damage, which is the main focus here).
Holy crap this honestly might be the best thumbnail I've ever seen. Like out of every video on RU-vid, I've never seen a thumbnail so eye catching. Yugioh 7s is talented.
Happy Easter Dylan. Divine Serpent Geh and Obelisk's infinite power were off the charts. And Shun using his Raidraptor- Rise Falcon with that massive ATK when he triple overkilled Masumi, Yaiba, and Hokuto was my favorite part. Zexal is one of the best series to have monsters with over 9000 atk and damage
3:15 that is true anime moment 4:40 I am pretty sure Exodia would be "Infinite Infinite" given he doesn't even need to attack to beat you over 7:05 I hope we one day get something that lets Utopia Roots pull of that disgustingly beautiful moment of BIG NUMBAH ATTACK in the real game (changing overlay materials for either ranks or levels)
So in game mechanic damage, Shun dealth 82K total damage, however, he dealt 246K worth of physical damage to his opponents I'm surprised they weren't hospitalized, since the resistance duel disks do physical damage without action fields
Hey man I've been meaning to ask. Why is it that whenever you talk about Yu-Gi-Oh! GX you use their sub names (Judai, Hell Kaiser) but when you talk about Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters you use their dub names (Joey, Tristan) Sometimes it gets confusing for me who you're talking about when you talk about GX
Also, yes, "Infinity" is a concept and not a number. It's a word that describes a never-ending string of numbers. In other words, you can always add another zero to your number.
actually dartz took more damage. Divine serpent Geh had infinite attack, yugi's knight of destiny also had infinity but it was stronger than Geh. Any power difference greater than infinity is still infinity and dartz took that difference (didn't show because his points were already 0). The difference between infinity and a larger infinity is...well, the larger infinity. p.s.: This only makes sense if you're a math major and I definitely don't think yugioh was thinking of this, season 4 makes no sense, but technically dartz took the hardest blow
Yeah. If I recall from 4kids which may have explained it poorly the Divine Serpent had infinite Attack and Defense points so the Pharaoh's loop would reach infinite attack as well and then a 3rd knight attacked to make it an attack dealing a total of Infinity+ damage to it.
It does!! The only difference is how they explain the end of that duel. In the dub the Three Legendary Knights gain attack "higher than infinity" which is not what happens in the sub
Yeah technically it was mutual destruction, but Dartz lost because his continuation in the Duel hinged on his serpent being around -- not so with Timaeus the Knight of Destiny.
@@mattegrey2609 in battle city, at least for a duel, they limited the size to 40. And even if you were to say his deck is "infinite" we know for a fact that he doesn't use multiple copies of each monster thanks to his almost deck out against leon (duel that also proves that he doesn't have an infinite deck, but whatever). So, if you count all the monsters he uses thorough the show, and discount those that had already been used on the duel, the Egyptian god cards because they were stolen, and the ones that only saw play during duelist kingdom and were retired from his deck, like wolf or feral imp, you'll get a top number of logical monsters for the weevil duel
I think the most damage ever dealt in real life was when my shooting star dragon in duel links inflicted 95000 points of damage in one attack the other day
Joeri vs the fusion school rebels is also pretty close at 56000 damage total, or 260,000 damage if they all took it at once, per your argument with Shun vs the 3
I like: Kaiba’s sense of superiority. Zane’s hopping the formality of it being children’s trading card game and just playing to win. Chazz being The Chazz.
One thing I want to say is if we count Shun/Shay doing six different attacks all at once, then Jaden/Judai vs Zane/Kaiser would in theory need the same treatment because that's actually happening at the same time and dealing that damage to both players. Self burn is a thing after all, which would mean Jaden/Judai dealt 115,600 damage with one card.
Actually, I am pretty sure that the whole exodia-monster is stated to have infinite stats in the manga. Just that this is obviously unused data due to it only being summonable through the 5 pieces and then the instawin-effect goes off without actually dealing any damage. It just sets the LP of the opponent to 0 directly, as seen with Kaiba in episode1.(and yeah, setting LP to a certain amount is diffrent from dealing damage/gaining them) Funny thing btw, Holactie has ? stats, which are treated as 0 due to no effect to increase them being on the card. So two monsters with opposite attackpowers have the same effect of instantly winning and the more powerful one is actually the weaker one in pure power.(unless I am forgetting something)
If we follow the official ruling, you can't attack more than once at the same time, so all the six attacks are separate attacks taking place one after another. The effect mentioned in the anime also makes it clear, Shu says so himself. This also means that Shu deals damage 6 times (2 times per opponent) each, meaning that in reality so did he only inflict 13k~14k damage each.
BTW, this is just a joke . . . Lol Because of that scene on the train. I know it's not legit. But it is funny. 😂 Especially if you're thinking of Little Kuriboh. 😂✌️
Most damage ever in Yugioh, Pyramid of Light movie just after Annubis gets nuked by Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, Pegasus says "Nobody could come back from a defeat that crushing, nobody except Kaiba that is."
so i appreciate the attempt to gas up shay's damage but unfortunately the mental gymnastics don't exactly work there if he attacks each monster once its just gonna come out to 82,100, it would would be great but in the end they'd count as one entity with a shared field.
4:58 not true. If you remember, Joey's first loss in Battle City (where he lost Red-Eyes), was against the unnamed Rare Hunter, who used Exodia as his win condition, heavily implying that Joey lost to Exodia, which means he would have taken hits from Exodia.
How is your name Yugioh Everything when you dont even remember everything about the series you're talking about? Kaiba vs Duel Computer: Kaiba summons Obelisk for the first time then uses its infinity effect to beat Ultimate Dragon. The DC LP dropped from 4000 to 0.
Judging by how Hokuto Yaiba and Masumi literally got knocked out after taking this attack, shun hit WAY TOO hard. He probably could kill people with that amount of damage. If you land on your neck wrong after getting yeeted 20 feet, it's game over.
Obelisks actually never dealt infinite damage. His effect was explained, definitely in the manga maybe it was skipped in the anime, to: rais his attack to infinity, then destroy all monsters on the opponents field by effect, then if the opponent has remaining monsters declare an attack against every one of them one after the other during wich the opponent does not receive battle damage and then if no monsters remain on the opponents field (the only time that would not happen in the entire anime/manga is when the opponents have ra) it deals exactly 4000 effect damage. In contrast to that during the original yugi kaiba duel, at least in the manga the anime gives no explanation whatsoever but the atk point display makes me think it works the same, exodia was not stated to be an instant win but instead the 5 pieces "combine" (fuse?) into a monster with infinite attack, so if kaiba had only monsters in defense position yugi would still have to beat over them until kaiba would have ran out. Doesn't change anything here but it does highlight how absolutely insane the manga, and by extension it's anime adaptation was.
"Infinity is a very hard concept to grasp". Yes, that's literally part of the definition. A number so large that it's impossible to understand just how large it is.
uhhh, but outside of Shadow games they're just holograms. Doesn't matter how high the attack is of a hologram, yugioh characters always just overreact to literally nothing.
Well Infinite isn't the highest amount we saw. Yugioh did fusion the three warriors to make a monster that gains the highest attack +1. So he had a infinite attack +1 monster. That is the highest attack. Also infinite attack just means that no matter how high your life points are they will deal the max amount of damage. So infinite attack is basically 9999999999999 so yugi attack with a 9999999999999+1 monster lol. I mean would you rather see a giant number like that or just say it has the infinite symbol lol.
I don’t really think Infinite Can be classified as the most amount of damage ever dealt. Because, Infinite would imply the damage never stopped being dealt, or at least until the duel ended. It’s hard to say the damage WAS dealt, if Infinity could imply that it kept going past 0.
I did recalculate what you said about the arc V part and the damage that you said would have been dealt but i hate to break it to you but your wrong cause you said that the total damage that would have been dealt was 82,100 points of Damage times 3 instead of getting a number over 200,000 i get a number below that used by the numbers you said the total value of points in damage taken is 136,300 and not the 246,300 cause if you tried to get that total points of danage the closest i get to that total of danage is if i take 82,100 poinys of damage times 7 so can you explain to me and your subs how it comes that the numbers are that far off?
I mean, if we are combining damage that is being given to multiple players by the same move then Judai's Final Fusion did more than a 100,000 thousand damahe
The duel between Zane and Jaden was just a regular duel. This means that no actual damage was being done to each other. So that's why they aren't acting like they are in pain.
2:30 while gay is not quite correct it's a lot closer than what you first said, it's basically starting off like with gay but stopping before the y and elongating that part. also I totally see where you too the screenshot about the attack points from.
fake! in game, half of infinity is 499999 atk and inf is 999999 that's why when i used borrel sword to crash into 'gay', i lost instead of winning the damn PvAi game
84k is correct because it has to be one singular attack otherwise only three of the monsters would have been destroyed since they would have lost from the first attack
