Hi Jenny....FINALLY a minimalist trend I can get on board with! Minimalism up-to-now has left me completely cold....so not a fan of all that grey-and-white, angular/sharp, surely echo-ing, sterile living environment. Warm minimalism is so much warmer and inviting.

I've always loved warm minimalism with lots of dark wood accents and all the natural elements! Texture, nature, warmth! Loved this video--so inspirational! And hell yes, warm minimalist fashion. Often, I dress very colorfully but feel so calm in a neutral, textured home.

thank goodness for warm minimalism. the same way i think that brown was *the* decor color of the 80s, i think that grey has become *the* decor color of the 10s, and i absolutely dislike it. it feels completely without personality and cold. i need a more organic feeling in my home.

This is my favourite style. I love minimalism, but I also love coziness so this is definitely my style. Pale warm woods, creamy linens, dried florals, fluffy blankets, candles etc. I also really like pinks and blushes (the natural clay ones), so this style is absolutely for me. Thanks for putting a name on the style I love 😊

The warmth of organic shapes & natural materials is always comfortable & appealing to my eyes. Reminds me of Frederick Hundertwasser for his love of everything with natural lines - he touted that straight lines are godless ;) I do appreciate splashes/pops of more vibrant colors in flowers bouquets and art… but there is something so incredibly appealing in natural wood and lighter spaces as a backdrop. I’ll need to research Japandi. Thanks for this inspiration!

Personally, a lot of modern minimalist aesthetics feel very soulless or almost clinical to me. Warm minimalism is much more cozy and welcoming. A home full of matching grey or beige is not for me; I like warmth, texture, and pops of colour. It may be an oxymoron but I'd describe my personal style as baroque/art deco minimalism. I agree that less>more and quality>quanitity but I'm not interested in individual pieces on their own having a minimalist aesthetic. I just want a well curated home where everything in it is worthy of the space it fills and the time it takes to maintain it.

The interiors shown in this video seem to me more like lukewarm minimalism. I was expecting more warm, saturated colors like orange, eggyolk yellow, terracota, mustard, even red, burgundy, rusty, brown... One can have very few belongings, but have them painted in warm, hot colors.

@@marinard6293 Absolutely! I would like that colour palette so much more. The interiors in the video are still very neutral but just warmer instead of grey and white. I would love to see more expression, richness and depth and less matchy-matchy but that's just my personal taste.

This is me to a T! I have to have warm woods, creams & beiges. While I despise clutter and an over-abundance of "stuff", I cannot handle white plastic and the dreary-ness of grey. More please!

Five years ago when I planned my replacement kitchen I fought for creams and woods, rather than the grey, grey and yet more grey the designer thought was good at the time. Hurrah! At last I am back on trend! I mismatch, beg, borrow and steal, and my home looks great!

I am a big fan of warmer shades! I really like light woods and Japandi is such a great trend! Yes, more interior design videos and definitely a matching fashion video to this one! With interior design, I want to see what I call ‘poseur minimalism’ 😂 for those of us who have big book and record collections but want to hide it from site behind warm wood, smart storage solutions integrated into our living space / walls secretly! Also, ARE we getting a cricut diy video with labels for David’s head? 😂😂😂 Another great video, Jenny! Can’t wait to see more! I always look forward to these.

How funny! I just did a little update to our home that warmed it up a lot - substituting some beige and rust accents. Seems to work with the grays and whites we still have, but it made a big impact. Thanks for this video! I also can't help noticing that what is coming in style now seems to be much of what was in style when we bought our home 17 years ago. :)

I'll be ticking with cool toned colors but definitely exited about using more rounded and organic shapes. Every thing being strictly rectangular in most minimalist homes has been bothering me for a while, to me it feels really stiff and kind of "artificial" because perfect right angles don't really exist it nature but somehow we have them all over our homes. Time to break up the straight lines of our rectangular rooms with some curves!

How lucky that my laziness becomes trends lol I never washed my hair daily, was called gross as a kid and now it's what's good for your hair. I make my bed but it's not perfectly crisp, and it looks more "homey" lol excellent. Never knew that warm minimalism was what I was going for, it's very hard to define styles I find these days unless you have something in mind and go for only that. I feel like I could easily use 4-5 styles to describe my home aesthetic

Nothing wrong with living in a Gallery - that’s where the word ‘curated’ resides. Danish furniture from Design masters are the exhibits that never date; moreover, in a space with bare white walls, the High art is in the design of the furniture. ‘ Choreographed’ furniture pieces, practical but at the same time spacious, without filling up every square meter.
