Air pressure is the weight of the molecules in the atmosphere that surrounds our world. The pressure we feel at sea level is on average 1 atmosphere or 1 bar. Water has its own weight and pressure. This pressure created by liquids is called hydrostatic pressure. When seawater is 10 meters deep, it exerts a pressure equal to that of the atmosphere.
In other words, when our depth reaches 10 meters, the pressure rate we feel above us increases by 2 bars, from 1 atmosphere to 1 from the sea. When we go underwater with a closed and empty bottle, we see that the air inside the bottle is compressed. The volume of the bottle begins to compress in proportion to the increasing pressure. As we can see in this video, the volume of gas in the bottle at a depth of 10 meters decreases by half.
Like every child, I was a curious and inquisitive child. I can only say that growing up and becoming an adult did not stop me from this sense of discovery. Sea, nature, history and science have been my interests since my childhood that kept my desire to live alive.
If you manage to remain passionate about the sea, nature, history and science, regardless of the time and conditions; It means we are together on this journey.
