Application received date : 2nd April,2019 than bio-metric done on 24 May,2019 than Medical done on 20 June,2019 and after that on 4th December,2019 I received email acknowledgment application from London IRCC office for further processing. please guide me how long the application will take time for final decision? 10 months has been completed now.

Hi Khaouani - Thank you for your question! IRCC usually sends out confirmations within 2-5 months, sometimes it may be sooner sometimes a little bit later. It is important to have submitted it with a courier service as long as you have the tracking number and see that its been delivered.

Hello, really appreciate your channel; have just found it now. My husband and I have applied for sponsorship for him under the spousal (outland) category. We submitted our application at the beginning of July (Express Post) and it was received on July 6. On the website it says that an AOC should be received by email within 6-8 weeks but it has now been about 14 weeks and still nothing. Is this normal? He's from Iraq. jaison sebastian It can take about 6 to 12 months but really depends on processing times. The overall processing is about 12 months so depending on when you filed the initial application you can more or less expect 12 months.
Currently there are different processing times depending on the provinces however we have noticed in our office the processing times remain 6 to 12 months for most cases

Laura Giugni this is normal as processing time can take several months. You can submit a request for an update but you might or might not get a response.

Im canadian.married a thai lady after 5 year relationship.I.m retired and financially secure.my wife just finished her masters degree in Thailand.And we attemtped to get TRV..denied twice.although we meet all requirements and supplied documention.would it be easier to get a granted approval on a PR application?Could we be denied simply on significant age difference? Sukhi Brar this is very normal as it could take up to 3-4 months before receiving a file number and correspondence. You can call the IRCC call centre and they should advise you if the file was received in some cases.
